Kashmir University Facilities

The University of Kashmir provides a wide range of facilities to its students. Kashmir University facilities include residential facilities, a library, sports facilities, cafeteria, auditorium, medical facilities and many other facilities. The university provides separate hostels for boys and girls. All basic amenities have been provided in the hostels. The university library has a huge collection of books and other resources to help the students with their academics. The sports infrastructure is part of Kashmir University facilities and a gymnasium is also present on campus.

The University of Kashmir has a cafeteria that provides meals to the students, faculty and staff. There is a health centre on campus that caters to all the medical needs of the students and staff. Boys Hostel
The university provides residential facilities to boys All basic amenities are made available. The university provides 5 hostels for boys.
Girls Hostel
Basic facilities like security, electricity, water supply are provided to the hostelers. 4 hostels are provided for girls.
Medical/Hospital
There is a health centre that caters to all the medical needs of the university’s students, faculty, and staff. Qualified doctors and para-medical staff are present on campus.
Library
University of Kashmir facilities include a library. The library has 16 divisions. It has a collection of 6 lakh books and it has a special collection for visually challenged students. Around 80 computers are present in the e-resources centre with high-speed internet connectivity.
Sports
Kashmir University provides a large number of sports facilities to the students. This includes fields and grounds for various sports. Water skiing, kayaking, canoeing, surfing, sailing, dragon boating, long distance swimming and aqua-parasailing competitions are conducted by the university. Cricket, hockey, football, volleyball, handball, baseball, lawn-tennis and basketball courts/fields within the main campus.
I.T Infrastructure
The university has the latest and modern IT infrastructure facilities.
Alumni Associations
The University has a good networking for the alumni association.
Auditorium
The university auditorium is used by the students and faculty to conduct various activities and functions.
Gym
Kashmir University gym has the latest and modern machinery which focuses on cardio and weight training.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria of the university provides healthy and tasty food to the students, faculty and staff.
Laboratories
The university provides departmental laboratories to the students.

the university campus is impressive. the classrooms are equipped with technologically advanced educational tools. the university has a main library and each department has its own library cum reading room.

Overall an academically enriching place.

College Infrastructure

The law faculty of the University of Kashmir is the best in the entire valley of Kashmir. It has a robust law society with an incredible staff. The environment is serene as well with magnificent university gardens and parks.

College Infrastructure

Excellent, the university has WiFi connectivity and overall infrastructure is nice. Some old buildings might need little bit of renovation, otherwise the university has up-to-date infrastructure and facilities.
