For admission to BCA in colleges under Utkal University, the eligibility criteria changes depending on the college but at the least the basics which is needed is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 with Science/Arts/commerce and Mathematics/Statistic/Business Mathematics as one of the subjects and minimum 50% aggregate should be obtained in the final examination. Also the admission is strictly on a merit basis by career marking followed by a Personal Interview. You can also have direct admission at the college level without any written entrance exam.
For admission to BCA in Central University of Odisha(CUO) , the basic eligibility criteria is that candidate should have passed 10+2 examination in Science/Arts/Commerce with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level from a recognized Board with minimum 50% marks. And admission of students are offered by the University on the basis of the entrance examination conducted at the national level.

Yeah! You can pursue phD from any part of India provided you have to crack NET examination.
The eligibility for NET are:
Candidates belonging to the open/unreserved category must score a minimum of 50% in their master or equivalent degree.
With the NET score you have to apply in the University you want to do PhD in and based on that you would be called for an Interview or direct admission can be provided to this course.

In Utkal University, there are various postgraduate courses being offered in various disciplines. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of performance in the entrance examination and marks in the last qualifying examination. The minimum eligibility criteria is to have passed in the relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Application forms are available in the first week of May.
Admission to all the courses including M.Tech and integrated MBA & MCA is based on an entrance test conducted by Utkal University. The entrance test for PG courses offered by the university is usually conducted in the month of May. For M.Phil and Ph.D. courses, the examination is generally held in the third week of July.

it's good but some maintenance is required classes, seminar hall, examination hall, library, main office and teachers' separate common rooms are provided however smart class facility is also there but we didn't get to enjoy the facility till now
Overall it's good ....but can be developed..need some modfications such as proper functioning electrical appliances. Considering as a govt. college it is nice and truly recommended. Just needs proper management
