Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is known for its emphasis on academic and research pursuits over direct campus placements, particularly for humanities and social sciences students. However, for fields like MBA, MCA, and sciences, JNU has an active placement cell that organizes workshops, career counseling, and industry interaction sessions. Some reputed companies such as TCS, Wipro, and Oracle participate in placement drives, offering opportunities mainly to students in technical and management programs. The alumni network plays a crucial role, offering mentorship and networking opportunities.
