Advanced Diploma in Marine Engineering (Formerly HND Marine Engineering) in partnership with City of Glasgow College, UK is a full-time one-year diploma degree course and it is offered by the Vel's Institute of Science Technology and Advanced Studies, Chennai.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have pass in 10+2 or its equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics group. Or

Age: Max 25 years on the date of commencement of the course

Admission Details

Admission is Merit based on percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination together with 10+2 marks.

Medical Standard: Candidate should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms with minimum unaided vision in each eye to be 6/12, and with no colour blindness.
