World University of Design, Sonipat Scholarship
World University of Design (WUD), Sonipat provides scholarships to meritorious and deserving students. To avail World University of Design scholarships, students must maintain pre-determined academic standards including a minimum CGPA of 7.0 and a minimum attendance requirement each semester. A student can only get one type of WUD scholarship among the various types of scholarships offered. WUD Sonipat scholarships (on-admission scholarships) cover part academic fee for the entire duration of the programme. Scholarships offered by the World University of Design are valid at the time of admission only. World University of Design scholarship offers apply only to those students who have appeared and cleared the Aptitude Test and interview and their admission is granted. Scholarships will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to 10% of the total enrolled strength in each case.
World University of Design through a tie-up with an NGO - SAPNAY has instituted Special scholarships, each worth 20% of total fee amount. The Special scholarships are for Wards of Defense Personnel, Wards of Serving Teachers, Daughter's Privilege, Sports (National Representation), Performing Arts (National Representation) and Single Parent Child. The university has tie-ups with Axis Bank and Credenc Web Technologies for providing educational loan to students securing admission to the institute. Through collaboration with GreyQuest (GrayQuest Education Finance Pvt. Ltd.), short-term loans are available for annual tuition fee payments in installments at 0% interest. WUD Sonipat BDes, BArch, BA and BPA Admission Process 2025
First, candidates should meet the World University of Design UG eligibility criteria.
Candidates must send the completed application form available on the website along with the application fee.
Appear in the Aptitude Test. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the aptitude test and the list of candidates qualifying for the next stage will be announced online.
Next, the candidates will have to appear in a personal interview conducted by a panel. The interview panel will ask questions related to the field of study selected by the student. Creative evidence (portfolio, drawings, photographs, crafts) is also to be showcased.
However, UCEED/ NID/ NIFT qualified students are preferred for B.Des admission. World University of Design B.Arch admission is done through NATA/ JEE Main.
Successful candidates will be made an offer of admission to join WUD. The offer will be sent via email.

WUD Sonipat PhD Admission Process 2025
Candidates should meet the World University of Design PhD eligibility criteria.
Fill the WUD admission form with the required documents of all particulars to be attached.
World University of Design admission to the PhD programmes is through a written test and interview.
Candidates will be shortlisted for an interview which carries (60% weightage) based on the score in the written exam which carries (40% weightage) conducted by the university.
Candidates who have cleared any PhD entrance exam recognised by UGC, or National Level tests like UGC/ CSIR NET/ DBT (JRF)/ ICMR/ DST (INSPIRE) or any other University’s PhD or equivalent entrance test will directly have to appear for interview.
However, cumulatively the candidate must score a minimum of 55% weightage in the entrance examination to be eligible for admission to PhD programme.
Final admission is confirmed after verification of documents and WUD admission fee payment.

It is quite good and decent. University has a lot of equipment, and facilities which are necessary for the course fulfillment. It has a library facility which can be accessed by students easily and WiFi is also available 24 x 7 . Though speed is not really great . But I really like the library.
