Adarsha College of Pharmacy, Kamarajpet Admission Process

Adarsha College of Pharmacy, Kamarajpet, is one of the well-known colleges to provide different courses in pharmacy. The PCI-approved college follows its admission process with merit-based selection of students for its varied courses. The institute provides courses at various levels such as Diploma, Bachelor, and Doctoral courses in Pharmacy.

Admissions in Adarsha College of Pharmacy are normally as per Andhra Pradesh academic calendar. In most programs, admissions are made in May-June for studies commencing from August-September. The college mainly focuses on performance in the state-level entrance exams for selection to its programs.

Eligibility for B.Pharma is passing 10+2 with Mathematics or Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. For management quota seats, the candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 examinations.

Adarsha College of Pharmacy application process is different depending on the course:

For B.Pharma:

1. Attend the AP EAMCET exam.
2. Clear AP EAMCET with a valid score.
3. Be a part of the state authorities' counseling procedure.
4. If granted a seat in Adarsha College of Pharmacy, report to the college for verification of documents and admission procedures.

For D.Pharma:

1. Apply through Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET).
2. Wait for the merit list by the SBTET.
3. If shortlisted, report to Adarsha College of Pharmacy for admission.
4. For the leftover seats, directly apply to the college. Merit and early joiners have a priority.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: B.Pharma course of Adarsha College of Pharmacy has sanctioned intake of 100 seats. Regular students are admitted based mainly on qualifying marks in AP EAMCET. Lateral entry students must pass in ECET. The college also admits students under management quota with 50% marks in 10+2.

D.Pharma: The capacity of D.Pharma course is sanctioned at 60 seats. Admission to the course is made by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET). The choice is made on the basis of a merit list drawn up by the state government. The remaining seats are filled by the institution on a merit basis, with preference to early applicants.

Pharma.D: Adarsha College of Pharmacy has a Pharma.D program as well. 

The admission documents are typically:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • AP EAMCET score card (if B.Pharma is selected)
  • Transfer certificate
  • Migration certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate (if any)
  • Recent passport-size photographs
