Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad, was set up in the year 2010, is one of the leading college in the field of Ayurveda education in the state of Kerala, India. Situated at Kozhippara, this is an affiliated college which permitted by Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) to provide upgraded and authentic knowledge of traditional medication of Indian origin. The college occupies a vast land of over 40 acres and provides a suitable learning and research atmosphere. Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College is a medical institution, which currently enrolls 345 students and employs 38 educators The college atmosphere extra attention to its learners, which channelises learners towards academic success and achievements and development of all round skills in the art of Ayurvedic medical facility.

The Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College has all the best equipment that can improve the learning system and overall character of the learners. The college health centre receives necessary attention in terms of equipment to meet first aid requirements of the college community. Central library as storehouse containing books on Ayurveda, modern system of Medicine and other systems of Medicine like Unani & Siddha etc. In particular, it is can be a source of a quiet atmosphere close to a library, equipped with Internet for downloading additional materials. Other facilities available within the campus include cafeteria, gym, and transport facilities that allows that institution to meet the need of its student populace.

Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College has only one course as its main outlet – The Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. This is a full-time programme spread over six years and offer intensive education and training in Ayurvedic system of medicine. The college is accredited for an intake of 60 for this course which helps the college to give the students a more focused training and education. The programme will help produce competent Ayurvedic practitioners to meet the rising demand for complementary, alternative, and traditional system of medicine in the advanced course of health delivery in the present world.
