Ainel College of Education, Hooghly Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

The Ainel College of Education in Hooghly commenced its coeducational teacher education programs and has continued operating to date. The college has received accreditation from the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and has a process for admissions based on merit in its programs. Admission is carried out as per the provisions made by the State Government, the UT Administration, and the affiliated University. There are two principal courses offered by the college: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), both spanning studies for a period of two years. Admission for both B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses is by merit as assessed by the candidate's marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. In this regard, the college will be attaining any further processes of selection as per the policy laid by the state government or UT administration.

Application Process

The application procedure for the college, Ainel College of Education, Hooghly, runs as follows:

1. Candidates are expected to verify eligibility for the desired program (B.Ed or D.El.Ed) as stipulated by the college and other regulatory authorities.

B.Ed: A total of 100 seats are made available for the Bachelor of Education program at Ainel College of Education. Admission to the B.Ed course is on a merit basis depending on the marks attained in the qualifying examination and/or those scores acquired through any entrance examination. The selection process is established on policies developed by the State Government, UT Administration, and the University to which the course is related. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the regulatory authorities for B.Ed programs.

D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education program has an intake of 50 seats. Similarly, merit-based admissions take marks acquired in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination into consideration. The norms regarding the selection process come from the state government regarding D.El.Ed admissions. Henceforth, all prospective students must fulfill the eligibility requirements spelled out for a D.El.Ed program by the respective educational authority.
