2. Aissms
3. Aissms ioit
4. Movie
5. Singhad
6. D Y Patil

Hi,
Can you please specify which exam you are talking about so that we can provide you with the full and completebinformation regarding that context. All the best!

If u select to stay in hostel then go with aissms as it's comparatively more good placements wise

Hi Redkar,

Imperial College

Students from the E&TC department don't hold much praise for their teachers; they say that although the professors are knowledgeable, they fail to express their knowledge efficiently. If anyone tries to pester too much, frustration is often removed in the form of lower term work marks. However, the Mechanical Department is exceptionally good whereas the IT & Computer Departments are said to be plain average with few senior professors and some other junior yet tolerable ones.

Hello

Which college's engineering branch cut off you are interested in knowing so that we can help you in solving your query.

Let us know the question in detail

Thank you

  • Nobody recognizes or acknowledges the name of the College, because not everybody is capable of saying the name of this institution without a lisp or a slur (I mean try saying 'S S S ' several times!) This institution is better known as the Plane wala college instead. Yeah, deal with it!
  • As mentioned afore, The institution houses a life size replica of a fighter plane. It's Humungous. As to why it is there? Nobody knows, and in the 4 years I spent there, I never bothered to find out. It was just a convenient point of rendezvous for lovers and friends alike!
  • The architecture is incredible! It's shaped like a bee hive, which implies that you are bound to get lost when inside the building, but several maps have been put up inside the college now, to guide you out of the labyrinth. Good luck exploring!
  • The canteen is average. I mostly survived eating outside the college at the Tapri. There's a tapri called Aunty's pohe, and another man who sells eggs, tea and Maggie. Decent stuff. I wish they would improve the canteen, but yes, the food you got at these places is what every student swore by!
  • The college stationary and office is open only after 3:30 for the students. (Slightly inconvenient)
  • I was from the Computer Department and some of the teachers are quite friendly and helpful! Our Head of dept. Is an amazingly kind man! He will make it a point to listen to a student's grievances and resolve them!
  • Only we computer students knew how to access blocked sites from the college PCs ;) You should learn that too if you are taking admission here!
  • The technical event is called Engineering Today and is held in the month of September. Fun! The cultural event is called Shivanjali, it's a grand affair but it needs a little revving up. The College is active in sports too.
  • You need to know a decent amount of Marathi to survive here, you know, to get around and talk to the peons and stuff.
  • The College has Introduced a new rule of wearing uniform everyday, except Wednesdays. I am glad I graduated before this rule :P

I've spent a memorable 4 years here, it's a nice place to learn

I think you should check out the last year cut off list to get best approximation.

What is your rank in CET ? Last year cut off was around 8000 rank. In my opinion it would be difficult to get computer but you may get mech and electrical branches.
