Akshaya Institute of Technology Tumkur has a dedicated placement cell that works to provide job opportunities to students. Akshaya Institute of Technology Tumkur placement cell is responsible for the campus placement drive and conducts various seminars, workshops, webinars, industrial visits and guest lectures to hone and enhance the skills of students. Akshaya Institute of Technology Tumkur placement cell also works on the soft skills and communication skills of the students. 

Akshaya Institute of Technology, Tumkur has a dedicated and committed team of faculties in the Training and Placement department under the efficient leadership of Training and Placement Head. A separate HRD block with 300 seating capacity auditorium, 4 Training Rooms, 04 GD rooms, 05 interview rooms and control room is dedicated for the placement activities.
