In Kolkata, AYJNISHD is a prestigious center for the education of those with speech and hearing disabilities. Degree-wise admission process

BASLP: Either entrance test conducted by Osmania University or merit related to marks obtained by the candidate in 10+2 in the optional subjects is the criterion. The program has an intake of 34 seats.

B.Ed Special Education (Hearing Impairment) ODL: There are forty seats available for this program, but it was not clear as to how the method of admission is most likely pure merit.

D.Ed Special Education (Hearing Impairment): Merit-based admissions. Number of seats available is 31.
