Hii,

Amity University is a renowned brand and known all over the world and India but Amity's campus in Kolkata was set up in 2015 which makes it just a 5 year old institution. It is a mediocre choice. You can see if you can get into Amity University Noida Campus or some other institute in that matter.

Hi,

For pursuing BA in Economics  Amity Kolkata would be a better choice considering the exposure you will be getting by studying in Amity University Kolkata campus would be far better than the kind of exposure you would get by studying at the Patna Campus. Kolkata would also offer you a lot of internship opportunities and a good learning environment. On the other hand there are other good colleges/universities which offer Bachelor's in economics to those candidates who did not had mathematics as a subject in class 12th. Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi- you will have to appear for the university's entrance test for getting admissions to its BA. Eco degree. Indraprastha University, Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University.

You can reach out to us for more help,

Hello,

Ofcourse YES. Amity is a renowned private university. It ranks among top 3% of the universities of the world.

Like any recognized university, Amity also has accreditation from concerned departments of the Central Govt. (like UGC, AICTE, NAAC etc.)

In terms of academic benefit to the student, the university offers good infrastructure and experienced faculty along with tie-ups with many foreign universities. Over this, Amity can promise you a good peer group due to its vast network.

Nevertheless, what the student grasps during the course is more important and will determine the true value of the degree.

Hope this helps

Thanks.
