Yes it is good but in terms of placement for this particular branch it is an average college.It is better known for CSE/IT/ECE branches placements.So if you have don't have any good options left with you then only try for this one.

As per the previous years cut off rank, it seems to be difficult to get seat in open quota for cs branch. But if you have the state quota for any of the three branches of the college, there are a few chances to get admission. Kerala state quota seems to have lower last rank records; thus admission would be easier. If your rank is less than 7K and you are not eligible for state quota, you can’t gain admission in Bangalore campus through regular counselling. If you are eligible for state quota, your rank should be within 20K. Note that this is an upper limit: CSE may not be available during your counselling turn. I believe it is not possible to predict with reasonable accuracy which options will be available during your counseling turn.
