Amrita conducts its own entrance exam to provide admission in engineering program. 

In order to take admission you can apply for the application form. It is already available. 

In order to be eligible for the exam you should have aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. In each subject, the candidates should have scored not less than 55%

Chemical Engineering was originally developed for the production of chemicals on an industrial scale. If you see the placement statistics of most universities, except for the IITs, NITs and other institutions of national repute, there are hardly very few companies coming to hire Chemical Engineering graduates during placement sessions in comparison to CS, IT, ME, ECE branches.
