Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent to that, are eligible for admission to the program.

A candidate possessing educational qualifications as prescribed by the respective State Government & N.C.T.E. from time to time shall only be eligible to apply for admission to B.Ed., and M.Ed., Degree Courses of the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. (Ref: to the university Guidelines).

Admission Details

The candidate whose application form is filled and furnished with required documents will be eligible for the entrance test which comprises 3 rounds consisting of written, group discussion, and personal interview by the board members. Admit cards will be issued by the office for the eligible candidate.
