The hostels have spacious rooms and Mess halls. Separate facilities for studying are provided in both the hostels. The college campus has a well-equipped Medical center to provide first aid and prompt medical care. First Aid facility is available in college and buses as well. Salient features in this regard are 24 X 7 Medical Care, Medicines to Students, and Staff from the College Infirmary. The College has a tie-up with surrounding hospitals for consultancy and treatment. To deal with emergency cases, college transport is available round the clock to carry the patients for treatment at surrounding hospitals.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The library is the ‘Heart’ of the Institute. Teaching and learning systems are supported by it, through reading material. It is well equipped in terms of reference books, textbooks, back volumes, journals, periodicals, and newspapers, etc. It is situated in the main building of the Institute. In-library we use the D.D.C. classification system and books are arranged according to this system. It has a spacious reading hall, periodical center, group discussion room, and online database browsing area. The library has more than books covering all disciplines of Science, Engineering, and Technology. At present library is subscribing to national reputed journals and magazines in the field of Engineering. It also possesses a good collection of CDs and DVDs. Its operations are fully automated using the e-Granthalaya library system. The library is also a member of the developing library network (DELNET) for sharing the resources among its members of libraries. All activities of the library and information center are computerized, including bar-coded ID cards and separate Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) terminals to know the status of books at any time. It is kept open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays. The library is committed to continually developing and improving all our services, especially in relation to those groups with and special requirements. They make every effort to provide practical assistance to any student with a disability.

To achieve a healthier lifestyle while coping with the pressures of studying, one needs to be healthy both emotionally and physically. As a part of this process, ACEM emphasizes the importance of sports and considers them as an integral part of the curriculum. ACEM has a number of centers for physical education and sports activities that help the students to maintain fitness and develop a competitive spirit. It has numerous outdoor playgrounds and indoor courts.ACEM students participate in inter-college tournaments in various games. Our college students won three medals, one silver and two bronze medals in weightlifting, and bodybuilding game in IKG PTU intercollege tournament held at CGCLandrancampus, Mohali. The college also organizes inter-branch tournaments in all games. ACEM also organizes the annual Athletic meet every year and all students participate with sports spirit.

IT Services brings together the central computing support services in the University. Collectively they constitute a major resource for the support of teaching, research, and administration. The purpose of IT Services is to create a digital campus in which students and staff can be as creative and productive as possible as they learn, teach, undertake research and run the organization. IT underpins day-to-day life across the Institute. IT Services provide the foundational infrastructure to support network access, email, and other key activities.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has Seminar Hall in College is fully equipped with Air-Conditioned, Adequate Lighting Arrangements, Proper Presentation Screen, WiFi Connectivity, Wireless Microphone (Mic), and other Sound Arrangements, Wireless Presentation Devices. All of these are used not only by the professors and the students of the Campus but also by the external persons that come to give motivational lectures/academic presentations in the college.

The College owns a fleet of transport buses that pick and drop students from different places. Transport facility is allotted an annual basis for students admitted for the regular program for the duration of a regular academic session. Transport facility is allotted on a First Come First Serve basis. Routes and pick-up points are indicative and are subject to change from time to time. Transport facility is provided till the end of the regular academic session including regular exams. Normally timings for the college Bus to arrive at the Campus will be 8:45 a.m. and departure at 4:30 p.m.

The college has laboratory intensive, a major thrust is given to developing laboratories with top-of-the-line machines. It has well-equipped Applied Science Labs and Departmental Specialized Labs. Moreover, existing laboratories are regularly updated to meet the course contents and research needs. Today they have the finest quality equipment to meet the total requirement of the students, faculty, and research scholars and of the industry. Spacious full-fledged labs are functioning under the various departments.
