AMCH Salem Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Annapoorana Medical College and Hospital is a reputed institution for medical studies with a very stringent and selective admission procedure in Tamil Nadu.

Application Process

The application procedure for admission to AMCH Salem will differ between the MBBS course and that of the MD:

Degree-wise Admission Process

MBBS: AMCH Salem offers an MBBS course for 150 seats and admission to this course is entirely based on the NEET-UG scoring. It is a full-time course and has a duration of 5.5 years, which includes a compulsory rotatory internship of 1 year. Students must meet eligibility as per NMC specifications and qualify in NEET- UG in order to be considered eligible for admission. MD: This college provides MD programs across five disciplines including Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Anatomy, and Biochemistry. There are 2 intake seats under each specialization summing up to 10 seats for the postgraduate courses. Admissions to these courses are conducted under NEET-PG. Candidates thus must qualify having completed a degree in MBBS and clear the NEET-PG examination.
