Arun Muchhala International College of Hotel Management (AMICHM), Thane, is one of the leading hospitality education institutions. The college has streamlined and comprehensive admissions procedures for two flagship programs: B.Sc. Hospitality Studies and B.A. Culinary Arts. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Hospitality Studies is a three-year full-time programme conducted by AMICHM. Admission is conducted through preparation of merit list in respect of applicants who appear in order of academic merit and performance in the 10+2 or equivalent examination. Afterwards, selected students are called for the detailed scrutiny of their applications on a date determined. The programme will be used to acquaint the student fully with the hospitality industry and provide knowledge in conjunction with practical experience.
B.A. Culinary Arts: The B.A. Culinary Arts is also a three-year full-time course, like the B.Sc program. As such, the admission procedure is also the same as for the B.Sc Hospitality Studies program. Merit lists are prepared from the records of applicants. Then, thorough verification by the proper authorities precedes admissions for shortlisted candidates. Preparing students for careers within the food service industry, the program focuses on professional culinary skills and knowledge.
