Degree wise Admission Procedure

BA: The Bachelor degree of Arts offered at AS College for Women imparts students a thorough liberal arts education. Admission to the BA degree program will be awarded based upon the merits of the 10+2 examination. This, however, is based on the overall percentage acquired by the student during the scholastic examination, but preference is given to one's score in the relevant subjects.

B.Com and B.Com (Hons): For one to be admitted in the Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) programs, they must have pursued their 10+2 education with Commerce or any related subjects. The admission is based on the merit list generated from the marks from the qualifying examination.

BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications program obtains students through their performance in the 10+2 examination, giving an emphasis on Marks and Computer Science. The course is open to student applicants from any discipline, provided the minimum eligibility qualifications are met.

B.Sc Fashion Designing: Admission to the B.Sc Fashion Designing program will be decided on the basis of the 10+2 performance of candidates, with bias towards students from Arts or relevant backgrounds. Portfolio or creative work may also be provided to support the application.

MA (Hindi, Economics, Sociology): Postgraduate programs in Hindi, Economics, and Sociology require candidates to have a bachelor's degree in the corresponding or related field. Admission in these programs is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree.

M.Sc Mathematics: Admission to the M.Sc Mathematics programme requires candidates to have a bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a main subject. Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the scores obtained in the qualifying examination.

PGDCA: The Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications program would admit graduates from any background. However, admission is based on the performance of the candidate in the undergraduate degree accompanied by any relevant experience in the field of computer applications.
