Atarra PG College, Banda Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Boy’s Hostel has a spacious campus. It provides very economical accommodation for students coming from different places to study.  The hostel has 45 rooms and has a capacity of staying 120 students. The hostel provides its students, with free electricity, water, and necessary furniture in their rooms, The Hostel has a library including daily newspapers. The hostel provides Wi-Fi–network services for its students, there is a conference hall having one television providing entertainment programs through a disc connection. There is a separate study hall for the students. The college has separate management for the smooth running of the Hostel.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

Atarra PG College Library is one of the oldest among Bundelkhand University college libraries. It came into existence along with the foundation of the college in 1961.  The library is open to bona fide students of all the classes. There is a well-equipped Reading Room, which subscribes to several dailies, weeklies, periodicals, and journals on a variety of subjects. Automation of the Library is in process. In addition to the central library, different PG departments have maintained their Departmental Library.

The college has sufficient infrastructure for sports and cultural activities. It has a large playground, gymnasium, basketball courts, and badminton courts in addition to the ground facilities for athletics events. Sports equipment is purchased at regular intervals.  

The college has 30 odd computers with other ICT equipment. Network Resource Centre has the facilities for computer training classes and accessing resources. Many classes have audio-visual aids facilities for the effective teaching-learning process.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like post office facilities within the premises.) 

The college has Banks/ATM facilities for all students within the premises.

The college provides a hostel facility. Well-furnished separate hostel facilities for 40 female students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a Classroom facility for students.
