A gymkhana office is provided in the left wing balcony of the main hall with store facilities, the office for gymkhana- in charge for equipment and records with gymkhana annex which is divided into A, B, C, D & E section each for the sports like table tennis, carrom, chess and NCC room.
The Library of R. A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics Matunga, Mumbai-19 was established in 1941, the same year when the college came into being. The library is located on the second and third floors of the main building. Mr P. K. Garde was the first librarian who served college library during 1942-1945. After retirement from the college, Mr Garde got an opportunity to work as a librarian of Hammershield Section of the UNESCO Library. Mr L.K.Gorey, Mr.B.V.Modgi, Mr.P.V.Ainapure and Mr .M. Ketkar, and Dr V.V. Deshpande also served as librarians in this prestigious college. The library which started with an initial collection of a few thousand books has now grown up to a rich collection of 72157 books and 2254 bound volumes of national and International periodicals.
The college has the sports facilities for all students.
The college has 2 computer labs for computer-assisted learning in the subject of Computer Systems and Applications. Computer Lab M2 has 30 computers with the latest licensed software and hardware. Computer Lab M9 has 22 computers with the latest licensed software and hardware.
A college canteen is a much-sought place in at Podar college. The canteen is being run by a private caterer, who affiliated with the college for a decade.
The assembly hall, also known as the main hall or college auditorium is a multipurpose hall. The hall has a seating capacity of 500. There is a stage for performing arts. At both ends of the stage, there are green rooms, one of which is also used as a storeroom. The main hall is also used for indoor games such as badminton, judo and boxing. Students use it for Youth festival practices, dance and drama. On Sundays and holidays, it is used for college and community functions.
The college has a good networking for the alumni association.
College infrastructure is decent and classrooms are well ventilated. Teachers use e boards and power point presentation to make us understand concepts. Various college cells have their own offices where they can conduct meetings and brainstorm
Infrastructure is very basic. No canteen but has e-classroom facility. No lift facility. Unclean washrooms in the ladies common room. Wifi is available but only for teachers. Students are restricted from using the wifi
It is best because of autonomous in nature and has the big multiple purpose auditorium which ha sthe capacity more than 200 students and also a big stage The college has build upon the ancient architecture
