SRCC Delhi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

SRCC Delhi Boys Hostel can accommodate around 145 students. SRCC Delhi hostel rooms of the hostel are spacious and well-furnished. SRCC hostel facilities are a dining hall, common room, mess, wi-fi, indoor games, 24*7 RO water, housekeeping staff etc. Rooms are cleaned daily by housekeeping staff.

SRCC Delhi girls hostel is situated within the campus. SRCC Delhi hostel has 27 well-furnished rooms. SRCC Delhi Facilities like laundry, wifi, mess, dining hall, indoor sports infrastructure etc. SRCC Delhi mess of the hostel is fully air-conditioned. The rooms are spacious and furnished.

The SRCC Delhi has a health care unit which offers medical services to students and faculty members. The health care unit has a full-time purse and physiotherapist. A doctor also comes to the health centre thrice a week at the SRCC Delhi campus.

SRCC Delhi gym is located inside the sports complex. All the equipment for free weight exercises, bodyweight exercises, gym ball exercises, swiss ball exercises, resistance band exercises, resistance machine exercises and stretching exercises are available at the SRCC Delhi gym.

The SRCC Library is a modern, two-storey facility attached to the main academic block, accommodating up to 300 readers. With over 80,000 volumes covering various subjects, SRCC Library stays updated with the latest publications in business, economics, humanities, and social sciences. SRCC Delhi library is fully automated, offering services through computers and subscribing to over 80 national and international journals, along with prominent national dailies and magazines. Additionally, it hosts the SRCC Enabling Unit, featuring a Resource Center for Visually Impaired Students equipped with assistive technology tools and software. The first floor houses the SRCC Archival Unit, documenting the college's history and significant events.

The SRCC Delhi has a multipurpose indoor stadium with a seating capacity of 1200 people. The wooden court of the multipurpose stadium is used for various sports like basketball, badminton, volleyball, judo etc. Apart from this, Shri Ram College of Commerce also has a field used for playing football and hockey.

SRCC has a canteen that is fully air-conditioned and can accommodate 50 people. A variety of food is served and that too at a reasonable price for students at  SRCC Delhi canteen.

Shri Ram College of Commerce auditorium has a seating capacity of 750 people. SRCC Delhi Auditorium has two green rooms, a stage, a podium and a comfortable seating facility for the audience. Moreover, SRCC Delhi Auditorium has air conditioning facilities. 

SRCC Delhi has twenty-six class-rooms in the Main Building of the college retain its heritage look with vintage teak furniture. SRCC Delhi classrooms are centrally air-conditioned and facilitate a blend of traditional and modern modes of teaching such as three-panel Green Boards with a large central panel and two small side panels. The green boards reduce glare on the eyes and help improve the capacity for learning. Overhead Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors with Roll-down screens cascading over the central panel greenboards on use. The LCD projectors can be used by Wi-Fi or VGA cables.

SRCC Delhi is one of the few colleges in the University of Delhi to have a swimming pool facility. SRCC Delhi swimming pool opens during the summer season. SRCC Delhi swimming pool is properly maintained and coaching facilities are provided to newcomers.

The SRCC Delhi has a separate parking lot in the campus near its Gate No. 4 for students and staff. For regulating entry, parking stickers are issued to the bonafide users. SRCC Delhi has a security specially to take of the parked vehicles on the campus.

The SRCC Delhi has an in-house Bookshop being run by the SRCC Co-operative store. The Bookshop provides books, reference materials and stationery products to the students. The shop remains open on all working days during College hours. The SRCC Delhi has also outsourced a photocopier outlet to provide photocopy, printing, compiling and binding facilities to its students and staff.  The outlet open on all working days during college hours.

The SRCC Delhi has three state-of-the-art Computer Labs. All the computers in the centres are provided with the latest updated software and hardware. Further, each centre is equipped with uninterrupted power backup. The teaching of information technology and computer-based papers is carried out in computer centres.  In addition, the centres are also available for the students to access the internet, practice and for preparation of their projects.  Internet with more than 2 Mbps data transfer rate is available.  

The SRCC Delhi campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled which can be accessed by students and staff members in the academic block, tutorial block, corridors, open areas, hostels and sports complex. Users are provided secure access with a login ID and password for using the Wi-Fi facility through laptops.
