ARSD College, a campus with old yet well maintained infrastructure. Beautiful building with a beautiful garden infront and vast ground space at back. From classrooms to seminar halls to laboratories to washrooms, everything is decently maintained though common rooms still have some scope of improvement.
13th Rank NIRF 2020-21 holder, the college provides variety of courses from science, commerce and arts stream. Apart from core courses, it also provides soft enhancement courses for both academic and all round development of students.
The placement cell of college is quite active and every year great companies visit to recruit students for both internship and full time roles. The only drawback I feel as an Arts student is that there are very limited opportunities for our stream.
Definitely value for money. Given the name and fame of the college, it provides ample of opportunities to develop personally and professionally.
Amazing campus life; from cultural fests to academic seminars the professors and students make college life worth it.
Just got to experience 1.5 year of college life due to the pandemic but it was surely worth it.
I got admission in Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, University of Delhi in December, 2020. As we all know, 2020 was the year of the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, I haven't really gotten a chance to physically visit the college campus. But, our teachers did give us a virtual tour of the college campus and it was magnificent. Large lush green gardens, open spaces, separate buildings for various departments and the prime location on the Ring Road; it does seem to have a lavish infrastructure.
I currently pursuing Bachelors of Commerce (Hons.) from Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Delhi University. I am currently in my first year of study. I have to say that the quality of education is not upto the mark given the NIRF Ranking 13 given to the college. There are no regular classes and the teachers teach the subjects in Hindi which is not commendable.
I myself am part of the Placement and Training Cell of the college, and I have to say, the team is really committed in delivering the students a vast pool of opportunities to choose from. The offers from companies are good.
I haven't really had a chance to physically visit my college campus due to the lockdown, so I can't say.
never visited but took a virtual tour and it seems nice and good. the Classes seems to be big with average infrastructure. The garden is beautiful and big. The looking of the college seems great if compare to many south campus colleges of Delhi University.
Pursuing Bcom and teachers explains good and it is easily understandable. As the classes are held online it seems bit difficult to say anything accurately but the assignments given to us are of primitive nature as they only ask for handwritten assignments inspite of PPTs which will be helpful for a student in his future.
no idea about that as I'm In first year with no exposure to college life experiences and exposures. But according to the reviews it seems to be average but fine. But the societies exposure and experiences can help in getting good placements.
I'd say overall infrastructure is average because some parts of it are good and some are poor like library and labs are good but wifi service is very poor no coverage across College campus and slow speed too.
Some teachers are good some are really bad, but then, hey when you come to college you have to learn to study on your own teachers aren't really responsible for your grades. Although professors are super cool whether you'd wan to attend classes or not, try not to be on their bad side coz you know internal assessments.
Zero to one company comes to take students from mathematics honours. This is year 2021 my final year and only company came Larson and tubro which also first took a written test before taking an interview, so don't expect much here.
It's a government college ofcourse it'll be value for money annual fees is around 10-12K with ok facilities and great experiences coz you're coming to Delhi University and the college is in South Campus not an off campus one so there's that a really good location.
Campus Life is really great as long as haryanvi crowd doesn't bother you coz trust me ARSD is filled with them so you'd have to get used to this environment to enjoy it.
The infrastructure of college is good. There is lot of greenery in the college. Classes are well maintained and labs are well equipped. Rest can't say much as I haven't been to college. It's been online.
I'm studying B.com(Hons.). I found the curriculum good. The teachers are very helpful and understanding. There are different seminar organised by college for holistic development. I have a good experience till now.
The placement cell of college is very active. It brings lot of companies and provide seminars for personal development. It organise Inter-o-feira where lot of companies come for internship and job offer.
ARSD college has well developed infrastructure and it provides adequate facilities such as Wi-Fi, smart boards, projector, laboratory equipments, and variety of sports equipment as well. Canteen caters hygienic food.
I am currently pursuing BCom honors as i am from commerce background and every teacher has their unique style of teaching effectively. Our curriculum remains up-to-date and includes all the recent developments of every field.
The college has a very active placement cell which provides employment opportunities to students along with guidance, mentorship, and the necessary skills to increase students moral, confidence and employability.
My course cost somewhat around Rs12,600 excluding exam fees. I personally thinks that it's really economical for weaker section of society and studying in this college is worth every penny as it provides excellent facilities and enhances our skills.
Campus life is amazing in our college. It has a big playground for various sports activities. It is located in one of the posh area i.e. South Delhi near Dhaula Kuan and has metro station nearby.
Atam Ram sanatan dharam college has very nice campus . It is well built college in delhi dhaula kuan.it is rebuilt in previous years it now placed under 13 rank in delhi university. It is very nice and has good infrastructure
Atma Ram sanatan dharam college has very nice teachers who are most humble people . They support their student . We miss these teachers as we are not able to see them physically as due to corona we are just completing session on online classes.
I do not know very well about placements as i am doing bsc mathematics honors . Since delhi university does not provide any degrees in technology ie btech or others. So it is the best college for graduation especially for science students.
It is very nice college under vey low price.i think it is under the reach of every middle class students. U can complete bsc honors in mathematics in 36 thousand approx. So it is the best college under your budget
Atma Ram sanatan dharam college has very nice campus. It is the best college in south campus . Yet we can not compare south college with north campus colleges but it is very nice college in south campus and under your budget.
It is very nice college . It has very nice principal which is the most humblest person . Even as i said previous the teachers are also very humble and very nice . So it is best for u to complete your graduation
College entrance is amazing. The area around the College is very nice. The college also have green area. It is amazing and gives peace and positivity. There are many societies for various activities. It is nice.
I am pursuing bsc math honors. I have interest in it. The teachers are very helpful and friendly. They teach well. The syllabus is up to date. The course I am pursuing will be favoring my job. Staff is nice.
There is a separate placement cell. The highest package was 2 lack per month. The college provided placement to around 80% of the students. It also gave internship facility to selected students. The college is supportive.
I am paid 12000 something a year. It is quite affordable. The facilities provided by the college worth the money. The lab and staff is good and supportive. The money actually pays. The canteen, campus is good.
Not enjoyed much of the campus life. But it is good. The classes are spacious. The location is safe and I hope that the college is capable of coping up with any emergency. The students can engage in very productive activities.
The college is good as far as I see.
The college infrastructure is good as compared to another college, however, some things need to be upgraded such as a desk in old Classrooms, boards, Water tank. The biggest issue is that purified drinking water is not available.
The academics are pretty much average, in my opinion, there are some teachers who are good at teaching and there are some who don't, moreover, there are also some teachers who don't care at all about student and studies. So, staff should be carefully hired.
This is aspect is what really lacks behind other colleges, percentage of students who received placement from college was very low and many students were not given offer letter after recruitment. ARSD needs to improve placement facilities in their campus.
The value for money is actually worth it considering the tuition fee of almost every college of Delhi University is low, they provide good value for money. You will most probably feel that your money was worth invested because there isn't much cost to begin with.
I don't how to judge it, it really depends on the kind of friends you make, you can find some decent friends in this college if you try and that is what campus life mostly depends on, however, I can't say the same for staff. Some of the staff members are very rude and they don't even talk to you properly, especially, in the Administration Office.
You can say overall experience is good enough and it is only good because I found decent people to hang out with and the location of the college is pretty good, so your overall experience will be good.
The college canteen requires improvement. Also, we don't have a proper auditorium. So we need to construct it as soon as possible. But overall the infrastructure facility is very good. However the library also needs maintenance.
I am very satisfied with the academic field of the college. The faculty members are very qualified and helpful. The regular holding of seminars and talks is also a sign of our activeness in academics..
What i have heard from my fellow students is that the college provides good placement opportunities, especially those who are from Economics and Commerce background. But I am not much aware of this section.
Hello,
If you have been selected for another university but have backlogs at ARSD College, Delhi University, check with both universities about the transfer process and academic implications. It's essential to resolve any backlogs at Delhi University before leaving.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you

Dear Dilanshi,
Shahid Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is great in all the aspects. SBSC is accredited by grade 'A' by NAAC . The college has good infrastructure and great facilities too. It provides you with peaceful and happy environment to study. The faculty here is highly qualified and well experienced. I would suggest you to choose SBSC for bright future and yes it is great for pursuing B.com(bachelor's in commerce) program too. Also the p lacement cell of the college has a remarkable record.
Whereas,
Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD) college is also accredited grade 'A' by NAAC. College has big lush green campus. This college also has a very active placement cell. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in which BCom hons program has its own good records.
Both colleges have its own popularity and are competitive of each other.
Hope this sorted your query.
Good Luck :)

With reference to your query, I would glad inform you that arsd college will be better option because I do think from co-ed colleges apart studies you got various opportunities to learn many things which you will experience for sure . Many fests and events also take place in ARSD and faculities are also very amazing in helping ,so go with the ARSD without any doubt
