School of open learning, University of Delhi is an average college. Here management is not so well but it is really a good option for those who cannot afford to go to expensive colleges but want to pursue their studies. Also, the students who are pursuing professional courses with their graduation can proceed with the School of open learning. Infrastructure is not so good but it is worth as it has cheap fees. SOL provides good facilities. It does not work well on their online portals thats why students have to visit the campus for small queries. Good point is that they provide the books of our respective courses at our doorsteps through courier services.
college is good in academics, they provide the books for every semester and weekend online classes for every student. online material is also available making studies easy for students . proper guidance is available for attempting the exam.
The college has the drawback that it does not facilitate the placement opportunities. students who are side by side pursuing professional courses can get the job on their own basis easily but those who are only doing graduation with SOL have suffer a lot.
i am pursuing B.COM. HON. for mw it costed around 8500 per year and it is worth it in such a cost .
Fine infrastructure Canteen was not good Libraries is good But not enough books Reference book are less Few novels are there e Laboratories are fine Library access should be for renting books few more days
Good teacher with experience in the field Also give notes Doubt session is also there Good reference of books Given the knowledge by practical knowledge and examples Interactive sessions Good bonding and environment
Not enough knowledge about this Right now No idea Less knowledge can be very dangerous There should be more access to the information to students As there is no availability of doubts This is difficult for students who don't have friends and relatives to tell As there is no proper information given to students
Yes The courses is valuable as you can easily do another course together Give more time to ourselves The fees structure is fine Average for middle class people for 1 year Good experience in this
Good environment Cleanliness Cultural activities Sports is also there Cultural programmes are very energetic College life enjoyment at fullest There are fest Crazy experience Life changing with friends Get to know more people
Good experience Teachers are good Things can get better acknowledgement of issues withinformation
I find it highly flexible to study at school of open learning. As I can't get enough time to attend regular college due to the courses that I'm pursuing along side. They provide weekly sessions as well.
A student can get great knowledge and a degree of one opts to study at school of open learning. Having flexible hours of study. I had never regret opting for studying at school of open learning. I get to visit different colleges of Delhi University in each semester.
No placements are provided by the school of open learning. They only provide a degree with learning and teaching sessions that take place weekly, having flexible hours of study and getting a chance to study at Delhi University.
It definitely provides for the value of the money that you pay.
Campus Life is also great as you get to have experience of different colleges of Delhi University during each semester.
You won't regret it.
The school of Open learning provides a functional but limited infrastructure. Libraries and study centres are available, but digital resources and campus facilities need significant upgrades for a better student experience.
SOL provides flexible learning with self paced study materials, but lacks regular teacher student interaction. While the curriculum is decent, better faculty engagement and practical learning are needed.
Placements at the school of Open learning are limited, with the minimal campus recruitment support. Students mostly rely on self driven job searches. Expanding industry tie ups and career guidance would help.
No it is not value for money
Didn't have a campus life
the school of open learning,DU,offers essential facilities like a well-stocked library and basic classrooms. while digital infrastructure is improving, maintainance and modern updates are still needed.
SOL, DU, focuses on flexible learning with self-study materials and periodic contact classes. While practical for working students, the curriculum needs updates to stay industry-relevant and job-oriented.
SOL, DU, has a placement cell established in 2018. While opportunities are limited, companies like flipkart and infosys have recruited students. Average packages range from INR5-8 LPA, with scope for improvement
not at all
0 campus life

The school of open learning offers basic infrast With limited facilities. classrooms and study centres are functional but need upgrades. Library and online resources help, but campus lacks modern amenities
The school of open learning provides flexible academic programs with Delhi university affiliated courses. Study material is decent but interactive learning is limited. Online resources help but faculty engagement needs improvement.
School of open leaning has limited placement support. Unlike regular Delhi university colleges it lacks a dedicated placement cell. Most student rely on self driven jobs searches or external career opportunities
Not value for money
There is no campus life because you only visited once a week.
Infrastructure is really nice and being helpful for students .infrastructure is really nice and being helpful for students to coordinate with faculties and dissolve their queries and it will also boost self confidence among students.
A curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field also makes the study little bit radical but as per the nep ,a students will gain more confidence and will learn more things.
placements are necessary and a core part of the college life and also the University of Delhi has a strong connections which help the students to interact with industry experts, and to learn and earn simultaneously.
Really good colleges are clean and they also provide water in exam halls also colleges are hygienic also there are trees and garden which really makes mood and vibe to study pescefully also they do really good activities
Really good and teachers also help in our studies and after classes also there teaching methods are also good its really helps us to understand the subject and books are also provided by them on time
There are companies for jobs and teachers also help in interviews they will guide you and there are really good opportunities in jobs also you can find jobs on your own if you want to but yes college placement are fine also
Really good i mean its an open school so yeah value for money is good
Really good
The college has all the basic facilities like classrooms, a library, and labs, but some areas need improvement. The Wi-Fi isn’t always reliable, and the campus could use more modern upgrades like smart classrooms and better sports facilities.
The academics are decent, but there’s room for improvement. Some professors are really knowledgeable and helpful, while others just stick to theory without much practical application. The syllabus covers the basics well, but it sometimes feels outdated compared to industry standards.
Placements are so much poor, and most students have to look for jobs on their own. Only a few well-known companies visit the campus, and the job offers are mostly for low-paying roles. Some students manage to get decent placements, but it's usually through personal efforts or off-campus drives.
The fees feel too high compared to what the college actually offers. The infrastructure is average, placements aren’t great, and the quality of education doesn’t fully justify the cost.
There's no campus life in open learning
Good for those who are preparing for CA or CS
Nice infrastructure and great for college student and keeping the overall nice environment and making it cooperative for overall community so that every student can actively participate and engage in overall environment.
The curriculum is overall necessary for understanding of students so that they can learn and lead a holistic development for their future and also university faculty are also supportive and answering overall queries.
Nice placement and leading to overall development and taking it to nice environment and making it a nice place to study and also community lead by them is also keen to take part in industry roles and activity.
Nice environment
Hello,
Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get in both the Universities in regular mode then it is not possible.
Also, there are a lot of universities who are not yet accepting the dual degree policy. They may accept it from a year or so as it was released this year. So you should get in contact with the college to know more about it.
I hope this helps,
All the best
yes , you get admission in B com in any university or college
