Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere.

The Candidate should Pass 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

BIT Wardha B.Tech Admission Procedure

  • All admissions to the B.Tech program are conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) under the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
  • Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech programs must appear for either the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). 
  • Admission is based on the scores obtained in these entrance exams.
  • Eligible candidates should apply for the CAP rounds through the official DTE Maharashtra website.
  • During the CAP rounds, candidates need to fill in their preferred course choices and colleges, including BIT Wardha.
  • Based on the entrance exam scores and choices filled, candidates will go through a counselling process, and seats will be allotted accordingly.

The cut off for JEE main 2020 and MHT CET will be declared after the examination.The cut off depends on number of candidates applied, number of seats available, previous years cut off trends etc.In 2019 the JEE main cut off for Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha was 26783 for general category for Mechanical Engineering .The cut off for MHT CET is not yet available.However, cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease slightly.
