Baker College for Women, Kottayam Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a library facility for all students. There are a lot of books in this library. The important components of the book library are Reference Library, Lending Book Library, Text Book Library, Reserved Books, Professors’ Library, and Rare Books Library.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college for women has a well-furnished computer lab with modern equipped terminals loaded with high-end software’s pertaining to the curriculum. Students can make use of the internet and intranet facility, available in these labs on all working days. The computer lab is open to all students in the college during working hours.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

 Software generally on which practice sessions are going on, based on curriculum, includes Microsoft, COBOL, Oracle 8i, MS-SQL Server, Visual Basic, Photoshop,  MS Office, Java Script ETC, Flash, Dreamweaver, etc.

Nature Club

The pursuit of Baker College for Women, Kottayam, towards a Green Culture, started on 17th March 2022 when Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Malayil Sabu Koshy  Cherian our Manager planted an Aloe, symbolic of initiating a Nature Club in the College. "A plant for My College", is the program wherein students presented one plant each to their college on 6th June 2022 as part of World Environment Day celebrations 2022. On 16th June 2022, Principal Dr. Mini Chacko, lead an awareness Programme  titled " Towards a Greener Culture

EDP Club

The club undertakes several activities for student development wherein the student gets corporate exposure while studying and develops a spirit of entrepreneurship. This enables student capability enhancement as well as their alignment with Industry. This way the EDP at one stroke creates a win-win model for students as well as Industry.
