BEC Bapatla Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college hostels are very comfortable for the accommodation of outstation students. Bapatla Engineering College hostel facilities include furniture, modern appliances, round-the-clock medical clinic and 24X7 ambulance.

The BEC Bapatla medical clinic provides basic first-aid treatment to the students, college staff and faculty members with the help of a visiting doctor. In the case of medical emergencies, the college provides 24X7 on service ambulance facility. Students can also visit the hospital of the visiting doctor for preferential treatment.

Bapatla Engineering College library facilities include textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, CDs, DVDs, e-books, e-journals and many more. The library is installed with SOUL software to fully automate the services and uses OPAC software and barcoding to easily access the resources. Reprography and photocopying facilities are also available in the library. The library also provides a book bank facility for SC and ST students. The book bank is funded by TEQIP and provides a diverse collection of books. BEC Bapatla library also offers laptops to help the students in the project work.

Various games like cricket, tennis, volleyball, shuttle badminton, basketball, athletics are provided by the Bapatla Engineering College sports department. Students are also encouraged to participate in various sports for physical and mental well-being.

The college has a fully air-conditioned computer centre, equipped with servers and nodes and implements AT&T structured cabling compliance. The computers are enabled with the latest software like Rational Suite, Informatica, Turbo C++, Oracle 10gi, Clementine, MS Fortran 5, etc.

Bapatla Engineering College cafeteria is well-furnished and well-ventilated. Hygienic food is provided in the college canteen.

BEC Bapatla has a spacious auditorium, which is used for organising events and seminars. BEC Bapatla auditorium facilities include the latest equipment like projectors and audio-video systems.
