BB Arts NB Commerce and BP Science College, Yavatmal Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

BB Arts NB Commerce and BP Science College follows the academic calendar of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. Although the exact dates change each year, it is requested of the students that they prepare their applications well in advance, generally from March-April for the academic year to begin in June-July.

BA, B.Sc, and B.Com, are generally those candidates who pass the 10+2 examination from a recognized board. Postgraduate programs are for M.Sc Botany and MA Marathi candidates, respectively. For these, the respective candidates should be done with his bachelor's degree in the related stream. 6. Counseling and Seat Allocation: Candidates short-listed for the counseling process might be called upon for counseling and seat allocation.

7. Paying the Admission Fee: For those short-listed, fees are to be deposited within the set time frame; otherwise, admissions are not assured.

8. Verification of Document: The College verifies all submitted documents for complete authenticity before considering the admission through.

Degree by Degree Admission Procedure

B.A.: It offers the Bachelor of Arts program; it has a fairly wide curriculum including various humanities in BB Arts, NB Commerce and BP Science Colleges. Admission takes place on a merit basis given to the mark obtained in an equivalent 10+2 examination, and the number of students coming in for their B.A. is flexible, so to speak.

B.Sc: The Bachelor of Science program is for students who want to pursue scientific studies. Admission is strictly merit-based, based on the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examination, with a focus on science subjects. The college has state-of-the-art laboratory facilities for practical learning.

B.Com: For students aiming to be commerce graduates, the B.Com course offers a sound base in business studies. Admission is strictly based on merit obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination results. Preference is given to students from the commerce stream.

M.Sc Botany: This postgraduate course in Botany is for those students who are interested in plant sciences. Merit-based selection is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in the bachelor's degree, preferably in Botany or related life sciences. The total fee for the program is Rs 30,902.

M.A. Marathi This postgraduate programme in Marathi literature and language is through merit-based admission. Candidates who have a bachelor's degree in Marathi or any other relevant subject are eligible for the same. The total fee for the M.A. Marathi program is Rs 10,352.

Ph.D. Programs: Doctoral programs offered by the college include Botany, Chemistry, and Physical Education. The college takes only 5 students per year for the Botany and Chemistry programs, and 4 students per year for the Physical Education program. Admission to the Ph.D. programs is quite competitive, considering the candidate's performance in their master's program and possibly tests or interviews for some programs.
