BDS Institute of Management, Meerut Admission Process

BDS Institute of Management, Meerut, is a well-reckoned school set to provide an array of professional courses. The institute carefully follows admission procedures to ensure that deserving candidates are chosen for the various programs. For most programs, the admission cycle generally follows the timeline of an academic session, and applications for more than one program would then open several months in advance.

For all the courses, national-level entrance examination scores are accepted by the institute; hence, fairness and competitiveness in the selection procedure are maintained. The college is recognized by great bodies, such as the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and Bar Council of India (BCI), which is itself a testimony to the quality of education imparted.

With some variation across programs, the general requirement expects an applicant to have completed his/her 10+2 schooling from a recognized board. However, for postgraduate programs, such as an MBA, a bachelor's degree becomes a necessary requisite. Other prerequisites included in the admission process are performance at the qualifying examination and entrance test scores.

Application Process

The application procedure varies at BDS Institute of Management for each program.

1. Check Eligibility: Make sure you meet the eligibility evaluation for the program you wish to apply for.

2. Entrance Exam: Attend the examination for the appropriate entrance (UPSEE for MBA or any other specified exams like CAT, CMAT, or UPCET).

5. Entrance Exam Results: Await the results of the entrance examination.

7. Merit List: Check the merit list published by the institute or counseling authority.

8. Admission Confirmation: If you are selected, confirm your admission by paying the required fee and submitting original documents for verification.

9. Orientation: Attend the orientation program to get acquainted with the institute and its facilities.

Degree-wise Admission Process

MBA: At the BDS Institute of Management, admission to the Master of Business Administration is extremely tedious. Majority of the seats are awarded on the basis of the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) followed by counseling. The management quota seats are complemented with group discussions and interview assessments. Candidates appearing for Common Admission Test (CAT) or Management Admission Test (MAT) are given preference. The two-year full-time MBA program is very exhaustive and includes the entire business curriculum.

B.Ed.: Admission to Bachelor of Education shall be through merit based on marks obtained in a qualifying examination/entrance examination. Thus, the procedure is subjected to the rules set by state governments and the concerned university. Pedagogical areas are imparted to students through this two-year scheme.

LLB: The Institute runs a 3 years Bachelor of Relation Program wherein ardently one presumes the set standards of evaluation of admission shall be adhered to by concerned law entrance examination or merit.

LLB Integrated: BDS Institute of Management also provides for the five-year integrated LLB program. The admission procedure of this course would include scores from entrance examination and performance at 10+2 level.
