BES Institute of Pharmacy Bangalore was set up in 1985, and is known for its pharmaceutical education. Situated in the land of opportunities of Bengaluru, Karnataka, this affiliated college has been preparing pharmacy professionals for the future for almost four decades. It also has the approval of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), which means that it provides education to the required standards in the country. At present BES Institute of Pharmacy offers only Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programme which is regular course spread across two years. This institute has a yearly approved capacity to take 60 students in this programme, which is testament to the belief in offering quality education due to limited class sizes. This format ensures one on one training a crucial aspect of pharmacy due to the technical nature of the field. D.Pharma course is thus aimed at developing the necessary knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical sciences which would enable the students fit well in the healthcare and manufacturing pharmaceutical industries.
