BGSIT Mandya Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

BGSIT Mandya provides accommodation is provided on a sharing basis. Rooms with basic furniture like a cot, table, and chair are provided. Smoking and drinking on hostel premises are totally prohibited. Entry of unauthorised persons is prohibited. The hostel mess serves vegetarian food, the menu is prepared by the borders of the hostel itself. Various sports and Cultural Activities, along with regular academic work, are carried out for the benefit of the borders.

BGSIT Mandya Library & Information Center is an important learning resource centre with an open access system encouraging the user to browse freely in the stock area. The library is housed in a spacious block. Presently the library has 41,839 volumes of books and periodicals/magazines. The library comprises a reference section, a periodical section, a stock area, and digital library with an internet facility. The library also has a collection of newspapers; journals back volumes, competitive exam books, GATE question papers, University question papers, and syllabi of all the branches. State-of-the-art gymnasium, Sports building, fully equipped with the latest equipment within the campus. Instructors and trainers are also available to train the students and staff. 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

BGSIT Mandya has a Canteen inside the campus in which both South Indian and North Indian dishes are available at reasonable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days. Beverages of different flavours are served on different days according to different seasons. A committee consisting of staff, students, and trustees oversee the functioning of the canteen and its upkeep

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
