It also depends that which stream you would like to pursue , if you are okay with opting core branches , then surely you would get into one of them ( MIT or BCE ) . If you want CS ,ECE etc then also you have chances of being there. Apply for counseling and keep track of it.

In first or second counselling you can surely get Bhagalpur college but the branch is not specific.You can't get the cream branches as the seats are less in that college.You can get petro,civil,mining,or may be electrical

Both College are good from study and placement point of view.If you want enjoy little bit College life then you should go with MIT MUZZAFARNAGAR as it lies in city.You can easily hangout and it will be enjoyable.But BCE BHAGALPUR ,it is far away from Bhagalpur around 6-7 km..

You have a very high rank in BCECE. According to previous year trends, you can definitely get the Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology. As per for Bhagalpur College of Engineering you can get admission in all of the branches but the cutoff for Civil Engineering Branch is a little higher than your rank. I would recommend you to go BCE because of the first thing is that I am a BCEIAN & during my college time BCE is preferred over MIT Muzaffarpur. Nowadays BCE has another advantage over MIT is that the IIIT Bhagalpur is also there on the same campus & it is always beneficial for the placement & another purpose because the latter is a centrally funded institute. Also, the campus environment & students mingling is unique in BCE Bhagalpur as compared to MIT Muzaffarpur.

With your above mentioned ranks in different categories, it'll be quite difficult for you to get CSE in BCE Bhagalpur but you have fair chances of getting IT in MIT. 

I'll suggest you to wait till the final rounds of counselling as this can also fetch you a seat in CSE in BCE Bhagalpur.
