Our college is provieded with all the facilities and equipments. Colleges infrastructure is really so great its give access to everything to students classroom, Library, Sports centres, canteens, hostel. College is so well maintained and hygienic. You will not get a chance to say that college is unhygienic and dirty.
College faculty are so good, they are so friendly you can meet them anytime in college hours and you can even text them if you have any doubt reagrding subject. Faculty are so great and knowlegable, everyday you will be taught in a new way which help student understand the topic easily.
i have seen many students passing from the college with great marks and getting into companies of their choice. Most of the student get placed before they complete their college. I have seem literally 80% of student having a offer letter in their hand before their graduation.the
The facilities here are highly experienced and teachers are very friendly . They are ready to solve any doubt in a simple ans understandable manner
Campus provides good environment to student and everyone are so friendly with each other. All the students are cooperative and supportive. I like the most about this college is the big campus and their vision of being the best institution of choice.
The institute has well-equipped classrooms with audio-visual aids, making the learning environment conducive to academic excellence. BIT Mesra Patna also offers an extensive library stocked with a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources, ensuring students have access to comprehensive study materials.
The institute offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across various disciplines, including engineering, management, and computer science. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced, committed to imparting quality education to the students.
The institute maintains strong connections with numerous reputed companies and organizations, facilitating excellent placement placement opportunities for its students. The dedicated placement cell assists students in preparing for interviews, conducting mock tests, and enhancing their soft skills. Many leading companies from various sectors, including IT, Engineering, Finance and etc regularly visit.
Yes it is value for money
It is an institute known for its top-notch infrastructure, rigorous academics, and impressive placement opportunities.
The college doesn't have good infrastructures. The furniture is not maintained and very old and most of them are broken. They have a facility of drinking water. It also has a library and sufficient place for playing outdoor games. The college has canteen but the food served is full of oil so it's unhygienic.
I'm doing a Master of Business Administration. I had a great expectation but I was wrong. The study material which is provided is directly taken from the internet. Except for one or two professors, all teach from ppt so it's like a book reading. The curriculum is old and not updated for a long time so I have a doubt that it will make students job-ready.
The placement committee is not much active for MBA. This course was stopped for a few years as it didn't get a good response. In fact, old students didn't get placed. This course has been introduced again in 2020.
The course cost around 5.5 lacs. I felt like I only paid for the degree and nothing else. I hope the placement and teaching quality could improve then the money spent would be worth it. So only take admission if you want a degree and tag of BIT because there's hardly any chance of getting place because this college is not good for MBA.
Campus life is okay. The classroom is very old so as infrastructure so you won't like much but the campus area is greenery and beautiful. Some teachers are helpful and staffs are good. The college is located near Patna Airport so the area is not safe as it is full of noise.
The college should work towards placement and keep the placement committee active.
BITS Patna is one of the premier institute after IIT Bihta in Bihar in terms of infrastructure. University has all the infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Be it classrooms, Be it Labs or Library. Not only this, We have also a huge playground inside the campus. Environment is very neat and clean.
I am studying Computer Science and Engineering in B. Tech. BIT Meshra curriculum is strictly followed here. Faculties are very good here. Be it any branch. They are well qualified. Curriculum is updated and exams and all are followed here.
There is best placements of my department in this college. Even for core branches like ECE, EEE Companies tend to visit our campus. Like Alstom transport visited our campus and took 3 students from EEE and 1 from mechanical. Placement is even best for CSE branch. You can sit in off campus placement too.
My course fee is 2.64 Lakhs per year. It seems somewhat expensive too. If you interact with the seniors here, they are surely going to help you out. Money is worth only if you study well and utilise your time properly here. Considering these things, I feel that money is worth for me.
College campus is very nice as it offers you the loads of facilities. You can play lawn tennis in the court. You can play cricket in the field. Not only this, You can participate in several cultural events. Parakrida is the annual sports fest of our college. Some teachers are very strict, yet they are friendly too. BITS is located in the capital city of Bihar i.e in Patna. Campus is safe and it can handle any adverse situation.
YES, THERE ARE ALL THE FACILITIES, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND EQUIPMENT ARE AVAILABLE IN MY COLLEGE. AND YES WE HAVE A WIFI CONNECTION IN OUR CLASSROOM , LAB , LIBRARIES, SPORTS CENTRE AND HOSTEL TOO.... AND THEY ALL ARE WELL MAINTAINED.AND AT LAST OUR WHOLE CAMPUS IS CLEAN AND GOOD FOOD HYGIENIC..
I am Studying BBA BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION . The quality of teaching and the way or style of faculties member is good.Yes off course our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments.yes.
THE QUALITY OF PLACEMENT AT MY COLLEGE IS AVERAGE. ABOUT 80 TO 90% OF STUDENTS WERE PLACED. THE HIGHEST SALARY PACKAGE OFFERED IS 7 TO 8 LAKHS.THE PLACEMENT PROCESS IS EASY OR MAY NOT BE EASY IT TAKE TIME . YES MY COLLEGE IS VERY SUPPORTIVE.
ABOUT 75 thousands including hostel fee. (BBA) AND B.TECH ABOUT 2.5 LAKHS.
MY COLLEGE CAMPUS IS QUITE GOOD .IT HAVE A BIG PLAYGROUND AND LOVLY AND PREETY GREENRY IN NATURE. STUDENTS WALK IN THE CAMPUS IN EVENING. AND SO MORE.YES OUR WHOLE MEMBER OF COLLEGE FACULTIES AND STAFF TOO ARE SO SUPPORTIVE.AND IT IS AT THE SAFEST PLACE AND NEAR MY CLG THERE IS ALSO A MULTICOMPLEX HOSPITAL AND AMBULANCE ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE IN THE CLG CAMPUS AND WE HAVE IT'S OWN DISPENSARY CENTRE.
ENVIRONMENT OF OUR COLLEGE IS GOOD AND SAFE.
This college is spread within 25 acres of campus. Its infrastructure is not so huge but well established including 3 Boys' Hostel, a Girls' hostel, academic block, central playing Ground, dispensary and essential's store. WiFi facility is available in academic block and in hostels, LAN is available. Campus maintains hygiene.
I pursued B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering because of the initial interest of intermediates. Apart from some faculties mostly are not good. I don't think the curriculum is updated and it needs much modification. At last, you have to study on your own from Youtube and different sources. Frankly speaking, here the most unsupportive branch is EEE.
For branches like CSE, IT and ECE, placement scenario is decent. But for the Core Branches, it is not adequate. If your priority is to get a job then you have to explore some Coding languages, some extra knowledge apart from your syllabus. If a company isn't approaches to Patna campus then you will be given a chance to go for its placement drive in Mesra(main campus). Average CTC is of 4-4.5 lakh.
Its Fee per year is the same as of Mesra main campus i.e. approx 3 lakh including everything. So, I suggest that if you don't have a choice for IITs, NITs and BIT Mesra(main campus) then go for other colleges of metropolitan cities which brings you a diverse transformation in you.
This is situated beside Patna Airport, Bihar military police Headquarter, and Veterinary college. The environment around campus is good. If you're endowed with nice friends then campus life automatically becomes good for you.
Hello,
Getting admission to Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Patna with an AIR of 196972 in JEE Mains and 72% in boards can be challenging but not impossible, depending on various factors such as seat availability, category, and the cut-off trends for that year.
General Steps to Check Admission Possibility:
1. Check Previous Year Cut-offs:
- Look at the previous year's JEE Main cut-offs for BIT Patna, especially for the Mechanical Engineering stream.
- Cut-offs vary each year, so use them as a reference to gauge your chances.
2. Category Consideration:
- If you belong to a reserved category (SC, ST, OBC, etc.), check the category-specific cut-offs as they are usually lower than the general category.
3. Counseling Process:
- Participate in the JOSAA/CSAB counseling process where seats are allocated based on JEE Main ranks.
- Choose BIT Patna as one of your preferences during the counseling process.
4. State Quota:
- If you belong to Bihar, you may have a better chance under the state quota.
Alternatives and Recommendations:
1. Spot Round:
- If you don't get a seat in the initial rounds, keep an eye on the spot round where some seats might be available due to withdrawals.
2. Management Quota:
- Inquire if BIT Patna has any management quota seats available. These seats often require higher fees but have lower academic cut-offs.
3. Other Branches:
- If Mechanical Engineering is not available, consider other branches with potentially lower cut-offs and then try to change your branch after the first year based on your academic performance.
Contact and Assistance:
- BIT Patna Admission Office:
- Contact the admission office directly for detailed information about cut-offs, seat availability, and admission procedures.
Summary:
While it may be challenging with an AIR of 196972, there are possibilities through state quotas, spot rounds, or management seats. It's essential to participate actively in the counseling process and keep exploring all options.
Hope it helps you!

It depends on your rank, I think your rank will vary between 160000 to 180000 .It's difficult to get a seat with this rank but If you have home state quota then you may get :-
Hope this helps
Best wishes to you :)
