Bhagwati Institute has been setup in Gwalior for Professional Studies and is one of the most important colleges for teacher education in Madhya Pradesh. The college offers a well-defined set of programs in education including B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed. The admission process at Bhagwati Institute aims at selecting bright candidates, who are willing to acquire complete professional training to be able hands in the teaching profession. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed.: Approved intake at Bhagwati Institute of Professional Studies for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program stands at 100 seats. B.Ed. admission is based upon merit; that is, the admission committee considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the performance on an entrance examination. The selection process for the B.Ed. program abides by the policy framed by the state government, UT Administration, and affiliated university.
M.Ed.: The Master of Education (M.Ed.) programme has 50 seats for the candidates. The admission procedure for M.Ed. will include the marks scored in the qualifying examination, results from entrance tests, or any other selection criteria as prescribed by the state government, university, or UT administration. The final selection is carried out by the admission committee on the basis of these factors.
D.El.Ed.: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Program has a capacity of admitted candidates of 50. The admissions into the D.El.Ed. are also on merit, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or performance in an entrance examination. As per the standards set out by the state government or UT administration, the selection process shall be carried out.
