Bharatesh Institute of Technology, Belagavi Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Bharatesh Institute of Technology, Belagavi is recently started engineering undergraduate courses, for which admissions take place to screen deserving candidates from time to time. The admission at BIT Belagavi will follow the multi-channel approach as it admits both government quota seats and management quota seats.

Three admission channels are followed for the year 2024 in BIT Belagavi.

1. Government Quota (45% of seats): Admission is through Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bengaluru.
2. Management Quota (30% of seats): Admission is through Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) conducted by KUPECA, Bengaluru.
3. Direct Admissions (25% of seats): Candidates can approach the management directly for these seats.

The admission cycle usually overlaps with the KCET and COMEDK UGET exam dates. For example, the COMEDK UGET for the next academic year is scheduled for May 9, 2025.

Eligibility criteria for B.E. programs at BIT Belagavi:

• Passing of 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science.
• Qualifying scores in either KCET or COMEDK UGET, depending on the quota under which the candidate is applying.

Application Process

The application process for admission in Bharatesh Institute of Technology, Belagavi differs with respect to the quota of admission.

KCET seats for Government Quota: 

1. Apply and appear for the KCET exam conducted by KEA, Bengaluru.
2. After declaration of results, appear for the counseling process conducted centrally by KEA.
3. In case one qualifies, choose BIT Belagavi along with his/ her preferred course at the counseling time.
4. The procedures and process for verification of documents as well as fee collection as per the KEA standards are to be followed.

COMEDK UGET seats-Management Quota:

1. Registration and application for COMEDK UGET test
2. COMEDK UGET 2025 Date announced is May 9, 2025
3. COMEDK Counseling procedure will be organized soon after the release of the COMEDK 2025 test results.
4. In counseling, take BIT Belagavi and any other course of study offered by the college, if any
5. Pay admission fee as per norms of COMEDK and the Institute.

Direct Admission Seats:

2. The institute may provide all information about application process, requirement of documents and mode of admission.
3. The applicant must apply to the institute with all the relevant documents and according to the institute's fee requirement.

The usual set of documents that is required for admission is usually:

• 45% seats through KCET (Government Quota)
• 30% seats through COMEDK UGET (Management Quota)
• 25% seats through direct admission

2. B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats):

• Admission process will be the same as AI and ML, with seat distribution based on the quota system

3. B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (120 seats):

• Admission process and seat distribution will be the same as the other programs

4. B.E. in Information Science and Engineering (60 seats):

• The institute's standard admission process and seat distribution will be followed.

For all B.E. programs, the candidate has to qualify in either KCET or COMEDK UGET depending upon the quota applied for. The requirements for direct admission candidates should be obtained from the institute concerned.
