Bharathidasan Government College for Women (BGCW), Muthialpet, is a female-dominated college in Puducherry. The college has various undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. Degree wise Admission Process

BA Programs
BGCW has several courses for BA, i.e., Tamil, English, French, History, and Economics. These are accepted on CUET UG marks and according to the centralized admission policy of CENTAC. Intake of the college differs for the different BA courses: BA Tamil (110), BA English (50), BA French (40), BA History (60), and BA Economics (110).

B.Sc Courses
The college offers several B.Sc courses like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (Vocational), Computer Science, and Botany. Admission to the courses is also carried out on CUET UG scores and CENTAC counseling. The strength of intake of the courses is as follows: B.Sc Mathematics (40), B.Sc Physics (35), B.Sc Chemistry (35), B.Sc Zoology (35), B.Sc Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (30), and B.Sc Computer Science (40).

B.Com Courses:
BGCW provides B.Com and B.Com Corporate Secretaryship courses. Admission is done on the same basis as other UG courses with CUET UG marks being given major consideration. Both B.Com and B.Com Corporate Secretaryship courses accommodate 110 students per course.
