Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jhansi was established in 1986. The BIET Jhansi is an autonomous government institute funded by Uttar Pradesh Government. All the facilities were available in the college. Library was air-conditioned. The infrastructure of the college required to be renovated. Smart classrooms were available. The hostels were decent, like any other government college hostel.

BIET Jhansi provides various facilities to its students, faculty, and staff. The college is a completely residential institution with four boys' hostels and two girls' hostels which can accommodate around 1500 people.
