BVM College of Pharmacy situated in Gwalior is popularly known as BVM Gwalior is a recognised college in the stream of Pharmaceutical education. This affiliated college was set up in 2009 and lies in Gwalior of Madhya Pradesh. The institute is affiliated to the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and provides education in the filed of Pharmacy. BVM Gwalior is nestled in a tiny 2.55 acres of land and offers two course specialisations with an aggregate student admission of 141. At present, the college has a faculty of 19 members, and the college has never compromised on the student-faculty ratio.
BVM College of Pharmacy offers era’s most advanced amenities to ensure students can build their academic success and personal development. A spacious library is situated in the hall; it has more than 10,000 books, journals, and Periodicals. It is fully automated with bar coded books; Soul software company has been used for the computerisation process. The college has 140 Linux configuration computer systems and 40 laptops in its computer centre, although the computer centre is permanently closed to the general populace, the students and the faculty are allowed to use computer systems free of charge. Physical practicals are facilitated by adequately stocked laboratories that equip student with practcing hands in formulation, testing, and manufacturing of drugs. The college also has conference facilities with multimedia to foster departmental activities and workshops among them. Besides, BVM Gwalior provides facilities for sports, a first aid health centre for students, and staff canteen.
The BVM College of Pharmacy, Gwalior has only two courses for which the students can get admission directly in the college and that is of Pharmacy. The institute offers a four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) as well as for-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programme. Both the courses have an approved intake capacity of 60, and therefore, 120 students who want to pursue pharmacy courses.
