Students of online programmes at IIFT get adequate exposure to all trade promoting infrastructure. They can take their placement activity and appoint different coordinators for different associated activities. IIFT has a very structured system that facilitates placements for students.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) also provides students with the database of IIFT Alumni of all programmes so that they can get knowledge of new opportunities and general and specific mentoring. The IIFT Alumni list comprises names of Alumni who get into entrepreneurship and have successful start-ups. These Alumni guide students during their coursework in the programme. Students can also visit their enterprises for inspiration and guidance.
