Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should be graduates (10+2+3) in a subject from a recognized University.
Candidates should have at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree in the school subject. "Master Degree" courses for two years duration will be considered for scoring.
For candidates with Honours (in Bachelor degree) in a school subject. only the marks obtained in the Honours subject will be considered. In the case of Graduation (General), the total marks obtained in the course in all subjects (1st year+2year+3year) will be considered.
B.E./B.Tech candidates may also apply, but they have atleast 55% marks with specialization in Science and Mathematics.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
