Master of Laws (LLM) is a two-year full-time postgraduate programme in Law offered by Kumaun University, Nainital.

• Group A – Constitutional and Administrative Law
• Group B – Corporate Law

The curriculum is intended for students with a serious outlook, who are capable of pursuing research-oriented studies, and who have an aptitude for academics. The LL.M. degree prepares students for a rewarding career in a variety of legal fields, such as law enforcement, legal counsel, and independent legal practitioners. A person with an LL.M. degree is also eligible to teach at universities and law schools. In order to become judges, they can also take the Judicial Service Examination.
