Hello Hemant
When compared, GJU has better ranking than CGC but the placements that CGC gets are better than GJU. So if you wanna go for overall rank then go for GJU or else go for CGC. You can even look at CGC's ranking and other information in the following link:

hey,
cgc landran is comparatively old institution than cgc jhanjheri. it has different blocks for different courses , hostel facility and infrastructure is much better in cgc landhran where cgc jhanjheri is still growing. accommodation is better cgc landhran, faculties are experienced as it established in 2000. campus area of cgc landhran is bigger than cgc jhanjheri.
Hello aspirant
Being governed by the same management both CU and CGC share a similar intent and objective of achieving global recognition by providing quality teaching-learning environment. So yes …both of them have been working consistently to achieve this goal.
The difference is that affiliated to PTU was set up in 2002 and is the parent institute whereas CU is a private university that came into existence in 2009.
CGC has successfully carved a niche for itself over this period and has proved to be a foremost institute in the northern region being ranked as the Best Engineering College with Excellent Faculty in North India in Asia Education Summit & Awards 2017.
On a similar trend, CU, within a short span of time, has emerged as a distinguished institute committed to offering quality education and has been ranked among Asia’s Best & Fastest Growing Private Universities by WCRC.
This is all because of the fact that both the institutes share identical goals under the leadership of the same managing board. So they are equally concerned for the growth of both CGC and CU and are putting equal efforts for them.
Now the choice is yours where and how you want to pursue your career an affiliated college or from a private university.

Hello,
CGC College of Engineering, Landran Campus, Mohali
The college provides good placement opportunities. Many companies visit the campus in search of fresher students. As this is a private institution, mostly service-based companies visit here. your skills matter a lot for placements. Its placement rate is almost 90%, and the highest salary package offered was 31.77 LPA, and it was offered by Amazon. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA for the CSE department.
Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri is not a very bad college for BTech.

All the best!
Dear candidate
The reviews are mixed in terms of college life of cgc jhanheri as there are certain strict rules of college that annoy students However
Tuck Shops , Canteens , Big Mess, Nescafe, Stationary , Easy-Day, Pool, snooker, Table Tennis, Cricket Nets , Volleyball, Basketball Courts everything is available in the campus is available, though its small but Well Arranged. The campus is aVery Clean Campus with Greenry and 1 Big Playground. Outing on holidays or weekends like for shopping in chandigarh and all A Passbook is given where u need to write the time and Place of visit and get it signed by Warden. A PROBLEM FOR GIRLS - Girls have a Specific time limit for Outing that is Till 7 Pm in summers , 6pm in Winters after dispersal at 4:30 PM , so u have 2 hrs to roam in campus and if u Dont Come back In time be ready to submit ur passbooks and all and call at ur home.
All the best
Hello student,
Chitkara University is better than other college because Chitkara University is best known for placement. There are 180+ ties with international universities as well with campus
placements there has been tremendous response from corporate world with number of companies visiting CU campus for recruitments. Top companies like Google, Microsoft also visit the campus. So, I think that Chitkara University is better for placement than other one.
Cheers!
In btech cse branch on both
The infrastructure of the university is not that great or good but for any private university is very important to build the infrastructure as a part of there priority and improve it in every possible way.
The best college to start your career which provides you best facilities and a good infrastructure with highly educated staff. The college provide Wi-Fi facility along with proper laboratories and computer labs also species classroom and proper port facilities along with hostel facilities.
The infrastructure was good and very hugh in size. Colour combination also decent. But the cleanliness and hygiene were not that maintained as per standards and expectations. Otherwise building and area was soothing to spend 3 years.
