Degree wise Admission Process
B.Com Programs: This includes programs such as B.Com (General), B.Com Accounting and Finance, and B.Com Corporate Secretaryship, which are all available in both modes: regular and second shift (unaided). Admission is thus subject to the University of Madras regulations. There are 3 specializations under B.Com.
B.Sc Programs: Various B.Sc programs are offered, including B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Mathematics, B.Sc Chemistry, B.Sc Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology. Some of the programs are also being offered in second shift (unaided) mode. B.Sc has a total of 4 specializations.
BA Programs: These programs include BA English, BA Economics and BA Tamil. Courses offered under this stream cater to students opting for humanities and social sciences. BA has 3 specializations.
BBA Program: This program is offered in the second shift (unaided) mode at the college and is for students wishing to pursue a career in business administration.
MA Programs:
In Postgraduate programs, there are MA English (II Shift Unaided) and MA Tamizhiyal. These master's programs are for students wishing to specialize further in their fields of choice.
M.Com Program: M.Com is offered in the second shift (unaided mode) at the college for aspirants who wish good advanced studies in commerce to become professionals.
M.Phil and Ph.D Programs: Further, Chellammal Women's College M.Phil and Ph.D programs are offered in Tamil, thus benefiting students who want to pursue research in Tamil literature.
The quality of teaching is very good in shift I and i am studing B.com general. Now i am in final year. During covid pandamic we are not able to attend the class due to the poor network connection and thats so worst.
