Chembur Trombay Education Society's College of Architecture, Mumbai, Maharashtra is a simple and inclusive approach in taking in the aspiring architects. The college intakes are simple and accessible in no way related to financial status but merit.

For the flagship Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program, CTESCOA primarily looks at scores from the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). This standardized test tests the aptitude of candidates for architectural studies. The admission cycle generally follows the schedule of the NATA exam, which is conducted several times a year.

Eligibility criteria at CTESCOA for B.Arch include successful completion of the 10+2 or an equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. In addition, the aspirant should pass the NATA examination. For the B.Arch program at this college, there is approved intake of 80 seats. This is a really competitive process because only the fittest are enrolled here.

For the project management M.Arch, that has 20 seats, it may use different admission procedures. It will usually take into account the level of education a candidate did their Bachelor of Architecture in and possibly an entry examination or interview process.

Application Process

Chembur Trombay Education Society's College of Architecture has simplified the admission process in such a manner that the admission procedure doesn't make things complicated so that future students will not have a problem in doing so. The steps involved are:

1. NATA Registration and Examination: NATA registration can be done by filling out the form provided on the official website of NATA. NATA Exam preparation should be done well to sit in for it on scheduled dates.

3. Application to CTESCOA: Once you receive your NATA score, then log on to the authentic website of CTESCOA, and download your application form for B.Arch.

 4. Form Filling: You need to fill up the entire application form along with all right personal details, educational qualifications, and NATA score. Every detail should be filled up nicely so that you don't encounter any problem at the time of admission.

5. Document Upload: All the documents would be prepared and uploaded which usually will include: 

  • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
  • NATA score card
  • Passport size photographs
  • Any other certificates or documents which might be required by the respective college

6. Application Fee: You would have to pay the application fee which the respective college has asked for. The payment mode would be self-explanatory in the application process.

7. Submission and Confirmation: Your application form attached with all supporting documents, with proof of payment, will be submitted. It will be assumed that you get some confirmation that the application submitted successfully.

8. Merit List and Counselling: Based on scores obtained under NATA combined with other criteria of eligibility, a merit list for the short-listed candidates is prepared. If short-listed, these students may be further called in to participate in counselling for the purposes of seat allotment.

9. Confirmation of Admission If admission is confirmed, accept the offer by paying all the admission-related fee and submitting all other documents demanded by the college.

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Arch: The Bachelor of Architecture at CTESCOA is a 5-year full-time course with an intake of 80 students. Its admissions are on the basis of performance in NATA exams. Also, 10+2 or equivalent examination passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and qualified candidate for National Aptitude Test in Architecture.

M. Arch in Project Management: 2-year PG course offered at CTESCOA with 20 seats. In general, for students who pass B. A. in Arch. The application procedure may even consider the scores obtained by a candidate in undergraduate and other related parameters set forth by the College.
