Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Government Polytechnic is one of the premier technical college situated at Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India was established in the year of 2005. This is a government-owned Polytechnic, situated in a large area of 7.73 acres of land and is committed to training engineers of good standard. The institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers four diploma courses with a capacity of 708 in total. The polytechnic has a strong, devoted and qualified faculty consisting of 16 members all of whom are experienced professionals.

Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Government Polytechnic is well equipped with several state of the art facilities to facilitate all these academic activities. Students get to work within a proper equipped IT environment, which is vital in case of constant updates of technology. The polytechnic has functional labs in each of its departments in order to afford the technical training that is central to polytechnic education. Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Government Polytechnic provides over four full time diploma courses and all of those courses duration of three years. Such programmes will comprise Diploma in Information Technology, Diploma in Computer science and Engineering, Diploma in Electronics Engineering and Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Ideally each course has an approved student intake of 54 students, which showcases the institutes policy to maintain an appropriate student teacher ratio. The provisions of these programmes are on annual basis charging a fees of ₹32,820 for enabling the access of quality technical education by more candidates.
