Beautiful campus surrounded with greenery and peaceful ambience. Mechanical block is well equipped with up to date lab facilities, CAD labs, broad classrooms etc. The canteens are also maintained properly in terms of hygiene and sanitization.
Okay with the academics as our course has very limited seats and due to the close packed structure, the academic structure is mostly known to all and all the information is passed on to all. Only thing the department lacks is practical and hands on experience.
very average placement for our department as most of the offers are given to core mechanical students and the remaining are bagged by automobile students. Highest package this year was 10 LPA and average is 5LPA.
There are certain factors like average placements, limited offers for automobile student, less faculty count etc, which in turn fails to mark the amount invested here so I am not quite happy with the overall gain so far.
I personally don't appreciate the campus life here as there is strict dress code, timing constraints, attendance criteria etc which makes the college look more like school than a proper college but again, there are various inter deanery and inter college fests, events etc which make up for the cons.
Beautiful infrastructure as I always wanted my college campus to be huge and pretty and so far my expectations have been fulfilled. They provide all the necessities like clean classrooms, hygienic washrooms, proper living spaces etc. I think the wifi speed could be faster.
Happy with the course offered to our batch as when I compare with my peers outside this college, we are pretty ahead of what is taught but the only thing that we lack is the practical exposure and knowledge.
Okay with the placement as it is a new college for engineering and despite being new to this field, our department still offers us with decent packages like 10-11 LPA depending on our hardwork and overall achievements. But overall placements have not been the best
Average rating for this one as most of the money we pay is for the course fee but there are additonal money charged too for library dues, attendance fines and n other fines so I feel christ has a good way of making extra money.
4/5 for the campus life offered here as being new to this place, I didn't expect my college to be this lively but so far it has pushed me to be better and more engaging everywhere! I love the fests they organise and the exposure we get
Vibrant college infrastructure when it comes to greenery, labs, classrooms and open halls. The campus has a seperate space allocated for architecture block, junior college and engineering students. The old blocks like MBA should be reinnovated.
Average level of academics for engineering as it was opened recently but the campus is well known for management and law courses. Some of the labs should be restructured in a way that it provides industrial exposure to everyone
Overall placement for ece department this year with the maximum package being around 10-11 LPA. Most of the students opted for off campus placements by using personal contacts. But the placement cell officials coordinate well the department and provide information on time.
5/5 for value for money because as compared to other private colleges in bangalore, christ has a big brand name and history. So, the brand name comes handy for off campus placements as people pay a lot of importance to the status that christ holds. Also, the extra curricular opportunities provided here makes up for the money charged.
Ambience is good enough with decent number of students and fests! Only poor factor is the food facility as hostels don't offer their own mess and the canteens are mostly crowded and the man power is less.
Greenery is everywhere in the campus and that is the most refreshing thing out here. They have recently constructed 2 more blocks for civil and architecture. The interior design is very minimalistic yet attractive.
Academics are given top most priority here as there is ample amount of information provided before midsems or endsems. Curriculum keeps on changing as per the industry demands but yes I feel if practical was given more importance than we would have made a stronger impact in the industries.
Average placement. Companies mostly come here for mass recruitment and expect more from the students but since it is a private college, the students miss out on the most of the good job offers as it is mostly taken away by the tier1,2 colleges.
Average star rating for this as I feel some of the courses are new and needs more guidance and also not all faculties teach up to the expected level and also the amount of fine they charge for low attendance, library due etc is hilarious.
Outstanding college life as outside the department, students are given various platforms to enrich their leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. The technical and non technical events conducted also add up to the vibrant and liveliness of this campus
Outstanding campus infrastructure as I didn't personally expect the college to be this huge because all the campuses that have seen in bangalore is very sophisticated and limited. But kengeri is not only well equipped with fully operating labs, classrooms, seminar halls etc but also gives plenty of space for sitting in peace, doing personal assignments and hanging out with peers.
Happy with my batch teachers as our ece faculties have been associated with this campus for more than 7-8 years now so they have the correct knowledge to offer but the only thing I feel that is missing is the hands on experience, which is not given much heed most of the time. All the major subjects are theory oriented but the materials provided in the lab are very basic level so I feel if that could be geared up, I would definitely give 5/5 for academics.
Not happy with the placements as the senior batch struggled this time for job offers as the companies were not satisfied with the response of the candidates and how they performed in the test rounds. Highest salary for ece was 11 LPA this year. The placement process was easy for seniors due to well coordinated bunch of officials working in placement cell.
I am paying 2 lakh per annum for my course which equals to almost 8 lakhs for my entire degree. Speaking in terms of private colleges, I feel my money has been worth the investment as other private colleges charge 2-3 times more than christ and yet the opportunities provided there and here are almost the same so there is not much difference.
Super happy with the campus life but only thing that this campus lacks is proper food. The hostels don't have their own mess so all the students have to buy their food outside or from the canteen. But rest assured, all other things are top notch and up to the best level possible.
Kengeri is known to be the largest campus out of all the other christ campuses due to its distant location and land area. It hosts a variety of blocks with each built differently and maintained regularly to the upmost hygiene and cleanliness. There are 3-4 lakes inside the campus near which, students can go and sit for introspection and peace.
5/5 for academics as all notifications are shared on time related to any changes in the curriculum or academic structure. Nowadays for pre final years, placement training has also started which invites industrial professionals to teach and interact with the students and make them job ready.
Despite the extra ordinary courses and materials offered here, the placement statistics are still not the best here due to its recent extension of engineering and it is not well known for such cases. Christ has a big name only for management and law courses.
Money is valued here as the opportunities provided go hand in hand with the amount charged but the only drawback is the extensive amount of fines they charge for the smallest things.
Vibrant college life and being an active member of 2-3 known clubs of the campus, I made the best use of my free time here by learning and interacting with peers and growing my networks. It also gives ample importance to extra-curricular.
Pretty infrastructure with good ambience and crowd around. The classrooms are hygienic and well maintained with big boards and projectors. Labs are well equipped too with the lastest technology and there is ample space for sitting in the campus.
Satisfied with the academics as teachers provide study materials on time and give proper guidance to all the students. Also, the research center here has many opportunities open for students who aspire to learn in depth. Top priority is given to attendance in such a way that, a teacher hardly misses one or two class in a semester overall.
Average level placements for engineering students as the maximum package this year was 12-13 LPA, which is considered as very basic for such a professional degree like engineering. But the placement cell coordinates pretty well and all the notifications are provided on time and everyone is given a fair chance.
4/5 as I feel in terms of academics, cocurricular and infrastructure, every penny is made worth the investment but one star less for the placement offered here to engineering students.
Joyful campus life where everyone is treated as one family and are brought together as a part during various cultural fests, inter college events etc. Also, there are many clubs active in the campus which provide exposure to students for overall development. Christ is known for the extra-curricular opportunities it provides.
Pretty much happy with the infrastructure as the campus is the largest in terms of area out of all the other christ campuses. With spacious classrooms, organized labs, well sanitised washrooms and a big space for other activities, the campus not only comes with visual aesthetics but also gives you a good space to sit in peace and explore the calmness around. The biggest attraction is the open audi, which is situated right between block 2 and 3 and has enough space for hosting high profile events, activities, open mic etc. Each block has around 3-4 floors overall.
Good academics overall as teachers are very focused on providing the students with updates right on time and available during college hours all the time to help them out in the best way possible. I am currently a pre final year student, pursuing B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering and so far I am fully satisfied with my curriculum.
Not very happy with placements as our senior batch had to go through many rounds and hassle to get placed in a good company. The management is not to be blamed fully but yes, other factors like lack of practical skills, inconsistency etc led to such situations to prevail.
5/5 as each penny is given utmost importance as the opportunities offered in return are incomparable to what they charge. CHRIST has a very big name in bangalore and I believe charging this much for a giant like christ is justifiable in many cases.
Super duper happy with my campus life as I am currently enrolled in many clubs of our campus. All these platforms have not only helped me to build connections but also be a part of lastest ongoing activities in and around the campus
Outstanding infrastructure as this campus has a big open air auditorium for conducting cultural events and also hosting our annual concert. The campus is divided into 6 blocks with each block being dedicated to different deaneries. The canteens have tie ups with Mingos, Nandini milk, ICH etc. Classrooms are big and clean and washrooms are also maintained on a daily basis. Biggest attraction is the mini park.
4/5 as teachers encourage students to come up with out of the box ideas and give them enough support in case the students want to get involved in projects or research papers. The level of support and guidance are worth the money they charge. Syllabus is also updated annually which adhere to the recent changes in the curriculum.
Not very happy with the engineering placements as the maximum package last year was 12 LPA and that too only from CSE department. Students from hardware domain need to thrive more and learn more skills outside their expertise to come in line with the computer science students so yes, placement is not the best thing offered here. Mass recruiters recruit people only with an average of 5LPA.
Overall the value for money is maintained throughout as placement will improve gradually with time but the other opportunities are yet the best so they do give you the best they can in return of the money you invest. Course fee for engineering department is 2 LAKH/YEAR.
Happy with my campus life as I met many people from different states and built a good connection overall. The location is in Kengeri, which is in outskirts of Bangalore and the college is situated near highway so yes road safety is given utmost importance here. Best part is the extra-curricular engagement and worst is the attendance system.
Happy with the college infrastructure as it is quite big and spacious and apart from library, it also has other spaces for student to sit in peace and study. The campus also has a good ambience as mostly it's all tranquil and quite. The hygiene is given as the topmost priority and all the washrooms, common halls are maintained properly.
Level of academics is good as teachers are very approachable and attentive. PPTS, study materials etc are always provided on time and students are guided well on how to tackle their difficulties and maintain a good GPA overall. Tech talks, seminars, conferences etc are also given priority.
Very average placements for engineering students as it is mostly a private college and needs to build up for reputation as an engineering college. Christ as a whole is known for law and management so engineering students are given lesser priority. Average package is around 6-7 LPA for most of the students but off campus placements are quite good as due to brand name, most companies tend to offer better packages outside.
Quite satisfactory as students are given exposure to academic excellence, extra curricular activities, leadership skills, bootcamps etc. The clubs here are top notch and all the student volunteers are well versed and disciplined. My course is 2 lakh/year and so far it has been worth the money.
Happy with my college life as people uplift each other here and the clubs bring different people from different deaneries together to mingle up and form a better community. The learning space is very peaceful and ample appreciation is given to students with merit. Annual fest MAGNOVITE has good concert.
