Becoming a BSc Agri. without MHT CET

While MHT CET is a common entrance exam for agricultural courses in Maharashtra, there are alternative pathways to pursue a BSc Agri. degree:

Direct Admission: Some colleges offer direct admission based on Class 12 marks. Check the specific requirements and deadlines of colleges in your region.University-Level Entrance Exams: Many universities conduct their own entrance exams for agriculture courses. Research these exams and their eligibility criteria.Agricultural Universities: Agricultural universities often have their own admission processes. Explore the specific requirements and application procedures of these universities.Private Colleges: Private colleges might have their own admission criteria. Research these options and their fees.Diploma in Agriculture: Consider pursuing a Diploma in Agriculture and then applying for a BSc Agri. program. This can be a stepping stone.

Key Points:

Research: Thoroughly research the admission processes of different colleges and universities.Eligibility Criteria: Ensure you meet the minimum eligibility requirements, which typically include Class 12 Science with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.Counseling: Seek guidance from educational counselors or career advisors to understand the best options for you.Deadlines: Be aware of application deadlines and submit your applications on time.

By exploring these alternatives, you can increase your chances of pursuing a BSc Agri. degree even if you haven't appeared for MHT CET.

Hello aspirant,

Candidates who wish to enroll in UG programs such as the B.Sc. Agriculture program must sit the CET B.Sc. Agriculture Entrance Exam. You must take the practical exam if you are interested in receiving the reservation benefits and come from an agricultural background; otherwise, you are not eligible to take the exam. Since there are only approximately 1200–1500 tickets available, you must rank lower than 5000 in CET in order to be guaranteed a place.

Thank you.

MHT CET Cutoff and Fee Structure

Cutoff: The MHT CET cutoff varies each year depending on factors like the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and the performance of candidates. While I cannot provide the exact cutoff for 2024 as it hasn't been released yet, you can typically find this information on the official MHT CET website or through educational news portals.

Fee Structure: The fee structure for MHT CET can vary slightly depending on the category of the candidate (general, OBC, SC/ST) and the type of college they choose. However, the general fee structure usually includes:

Application Fee: A nominal fee is charged for filling out the MHT CET application form.Entrance Exam Fee: A fee is charged for appearing in the MHT CET examination.Counseling Fee: A fee is charged for participating in the counseling process.Tuition Fee: The tuition fee for engineering colleges in Maharashtra varies based on the college's reputation, location, and the branch chosen. Government colleges generally have lower tuition fees compared to private colleges.

It's important to note that the fee structure can change from year to year. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please refer to the official website of the MHT CET or contact the admissions offices of the colleges you are interested in.

Hello aspirant,

The "General" category typically refers to candidates who do not belong to any reserved category, such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), or any other category with reserved quotas.

If you are unable to find your category on the MHT CET 2024 predictor, it's possible that:

  • Your category is not listed: The predictor may not have included all possible categories.
  • You may be eligible for multiple categories: If you belong to multiple categories, you may need to select the appropriate category based on your eligibility criteria.

Here are some steps you can take to clarify your category:

  1. Check the official MHT CET website: Look for any guidelines or information regarding category selection.
  2. Consult with your school or college: They may be able to provide you with information about your category based on your eligibility documents.
  3. Contact the MHT CET authorities: Reach out to the MHT CET helpline or customer support for clarification.

By following these steps, you should be able to determine your correct category and proceed with your MHT CET application accordingly.

I hope this information helps you.

Hello there,

With a CET rank of 100,000, getting a seat in B.Pharmacy can be challenging, especially in top government colleges. However, there might still be opportunities in private or lesser-known institutions. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Private Colleges: You might find seats in private B.Pharmacy colleges. They often have more lenient cutoffs compared to government institutions.

  2. Lesser-Known Government Colleges: Some lesser-known or newer government colleges may still have seats available, though competition can be tough.

  3. Management Quota: Some private colleges offer management quota seats which might have different admission criteria.

  4. Counseling Rounds: Attend all counseling rounds. Sometimes, seats in various colleges become available in subsequent rounds.

  5. Check College Websites: Look for admission notifications on college websites for any updates or openings.

You can also reach out to the CET exam authorities or admission counselors for personalized advice based on the latest cutoffs and seat availability.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello there,

With a 90 percentile in MHT CET, your chances of getting a seat in a government college for Physiotherapy depend on several factors, including the number of available seats and the cut-off for each college.

General Insights:

  1. Top Government Colleges: Government colleges for Physiotherapy usually have higher cutoffs, so 90 percentile might be competitive, but it's not guaranteed.

  2. Average and Lower-Ranked Government Colleges: You might have a good chance of securing a seat in lesser-known or lower-ranked government colleges.

  3. Cut-off Trends: The cut-off can vary each year based on the number of applicants, difficulty of the exam, and other factors.
