Pandit Deendayal Energy University, formerly Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, has been established by GERMI as a Private University through the State Act enacted on 4 April 2007. The university is located at Raysan village of Gandhinagar city in an area known as Knowledge Corridor, and it is near the GIFT City.

The highest salary package offered here is 25 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5.5 LPA. The median salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.

PDPU, Gandhinagar is one of the growing universities and have been getting a lot of good placements in the recent times. They offer a variety of courses and provide good placements as well. However, Bcom (hons) doesnot have the best placements here. The placement opportunities for B.com(hons) are less here and have decent placements. The highest salary package offered is around 4 LPA.

The University also conducts PhD and diploma courses. Candidates who have completed their 12th are religible for applying undergraduate courses. Both universities are great. PDPU has wonderful campus life and average academics. Ahmedabad University is also good for their academics and great faculties. If you wanted to do BCom hons. Both universities are great choice. Ahmedabad University have more experienced faculties. Bhoot University have their pros and cons.

Comparatively, AU will be a great choice.

Admission to B.Tech programs in Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar is offered based on the merit (50% state seats) of the qualifying exam as per ACPC norms or on the basis of JEE Main scores (35% seats).
