Hi there,

Hope you are doing well.

Congratulations on getting 1580 rank in the ipu cet examination.

With a rank of 1580 in the IPU CET for B.Com (H)  you have a high chance of securing admission to Maharaja Agrasen College or Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS but it ultimately depends on the specific cutoffs for these institutions in the current admission cycle. \

Both Maharaja Agrasen College and VIPS are popular choices and  have different cutoffs each year based on the number of applicants and their ranks. Typically, the cutoff ranks for these colleges are published after the completion of the admission process, and they can vary for different categories and programs.

To get a more precise and detailed information related to it, you can keep an eye on the official cutoff lists released by these colleges and contact their admissions offices for the most accurate and updated information regarding your eligibility.

Hope this resolves your query.

Yes, you can opt for betterment in the subsequent rounds of the MCA MHT CET CAP (Centralized Admission Process) even if you have been allotted a TFWS (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme) seat in the first round. Here’s how it works:

  1. Opting for Betterment :

    • Procedure : If you are allotted a TFWS seat in the first round but wish to seek a better option, you can opt for betterment in the next rounds. To do this, you need to express your preference for betterment when filling out your choices for the subsequent rounds. Ensure you follow the official guidelines provided by the admission authority.
  2. Seat Retention :

    • If No Betterment Seat is Allotted : If you do not get any seat in the second CAP round, your original TFWS seat from the first round will still be reserved for you. The seat is retained until you either accept a new allotment or the admission process concludes.
  3. Important Note :

    • Documentation and Confirmation : Keep track of all notifications and deadlines related to seat allotment and betterment. Ensure that you confirm your seat according to the prescribed procedures to avoid losing it.

you can go for betterment in the subsequent CAP rounds, and if you don’t get a new seat, your previous TFWS seat will be retained.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

With a 70.87 percentile in MHT CET and a Maharashtra state rank of 80422 in the OBC category, aiming for a TFWS (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme) seat in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT) can be challenging but not impossible. Based on previous trends, here are some Pune colleges where you might have a chance:

  1. Government College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) : While COEP is highly competitive, there may be a slim chance in lower branches or through TFWS if seats are available.

  2. Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE) : PCCOE is a well-regarded college in Pune that might offer IT or CS seats through TFWS depending on availability.

  3. Sinhgad College of Engineering : This college generally has a range of engineering branches and could offer IT or CS through TFWS, though competition is significant.

  4. Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) : VIT Pune might have openings for CS or IT under the TFWS scheme.

  5. Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering & Technology : This institute is another option where you might find a seat in CS or IT through TFWS.

It's crucial to participate in the counseling process and check the latest cutoffs for these institutions. Verify with each college regarding the availability of TFWS seats for the branches you are interested in.

If you wish to transfer from GLC Mumbai to ILS Pune due to personal reasons, here's how you might proceed:

  1. Eligibility and Admission :

    • Entrance Exam : For admission to ILS Law College, Pune, the primary criterion is usually the score in the Common Entrance Test (CET) for law courses. Since you scored 99.268 percentile, you likely have a strong chance of admission, given that your CET score meets or exceeds the cutoff for ILS Pune.
    • Admission Process : Check ILS Pune's admission criteria and deadlines on their official website or contact their admission office. ILS Pune may require you to apply through the CET counseling process or their own admission process.
  2. Transfer/Withdrawal from GLC Mumbai :

    • Formal Withdrawal : You should formally withdraw from GLC Mumbai by following their withdrawal process. This typically involves submitting a written request and clearing any dues. Ensure you get a confirmation of withdrawal for your records.
  3. Application to ILS Pune :

    • Submit Application : Apply to ILS Pune as per their admission guidelines. If you are applying late, inquire about the possibility of late admission or any special considerations.
  4. Documentation :

    • Provide Proof : You might need to provide proof of your situation, such as medical certificates or other relevant documents, especially if requesting special consideration for admission or transfer.

Contact both GLC Mumbai and ILS Pune as soon as possible to discuss your situation and get specific advice on the procedures you need to follow.

To get top tier colleges like COEP (College of Engineering, Pune) or PICT (Pune Institute of Computer Technology) for CSE (Computer Science Engineering) or IT (Information Technology) might be challenging since these colleges typically have higher cutoffs more than 90 percentile.but your marks is enough to get colleges such as PCCOE (Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering),vit, viit etc.
