The College of Teacher Education, Srinagar, is a professional teacher preparation constituent college endowed with specialized programs in education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed: The four-year B.Ed program of the College of Teacher Education, Srinagar, is a full-time program for persons intending to be teachers. The college has an approved intake of 154 students in this particular program. Candidates should also fulfill eligibility requirements of the college and the various regulatory agencies.
M.Ed: The M.Ed program concerns itself primarily with advanced areas of specialization in education. M.Ed admission follows the same process as that for B.Ed wherein merit will be determined in accordance with marks of the qualifying and the entrance examinations.
